Preparing the load
Remove coarse food residues from the dishware.
There is no need to rinse items under running water!
Ensure that no acid or solvent residues, especially hydrochloric
acid or chlorides, get inside the machine.
Do not wash items soiled with ash, sand, wax, grease or paint
i
n the dishwasher.
These substances will damage the dishwasher.
Load the respective cookware and utensil into the appropriate
plac
es in the baskets, but observe the following instructions:
Load the cookware so that water can access all surfaces. This
e
nsures that they get properly cleaned.
Load plates symmetrically in the upper and lower baskets with the
c
oncave surface towards the center of the basket (as shown on the
following pages).
Do not place dishes or cutlery inside other pieces. They will cover
e
ach other.
Make sure that all items are securely positioned.
Hollow items such as cups, glasses, pans, etc. must be inverted in
th
e basket.
Tall, narrow, hollow items should be placed in the center of the
bask
et if possible to ensure better water coverage.
Concave items such as mugs or bowls should be placed at an
a
ngle so that the water can run off.
T
he spray arms must not be blocked by items which are too tall or
h
ang through the baskets. If in doubt, test for free movement by
manually rotating the spray arms.
Make sure that small items cannot fall through the holders in the
bask
ets. Small items, e.g. lids, should therefore be placed in the
cutlery basket.
