Route the Cable Assembly
1. Remove the cable socket and the cable end cover from the end of the cable.
2. Screw one end of the cable assembly into the top of the weight stack stem.
CAUTION: Be sure that at least seven (7) threads are inserted into the fitting.
3. Pull the cable through the top of the weight tower frame, over the top of the
dual pulleys, and under the cable retaining brackets. Thread the cable down
through the tower frame.
4. Thread the cable through the lower pulley bracket.
Note: Be sure that the cable retaining brackets do not interfere with the
travel of the cable.
5. At the cross support thread the cable through the pulley bracket and over to
the pulley attachment on the movement arm.
6. Screw the end of the cable anchor into the fitting on the movement arm.
CAUTION: At least seven (7) threads must be inserted into the fitting before
tightening the jam nut.
7. Slide the cable end cover over the cable end and down the cable a few
inches. Slip the ball at the end of the cable into the slot in the socket, then
insert the cable anchor into the slot.
8. Position the cable end cover over the socket, then insert the bolt through the
holes in the cover, the socket, and the anchor. Attach the nut to the bolt and
tighten completely.
