Electrical connection
All electrical work must be performed by a suitably qualified
electrician in accordance with local and national safety codes.
– The electrical system must conform to local and national safety
standards.
– The dishwasher can be plugged into an electrical outlet (the outlet
must be accessible after installation). This will then make it easier to
perform an electrical safety check, e.g. during repair or service
work.
– If the dishwasher is permanently wired to the power supply, a main
switch capable of disconnecting the dishwasher at all poles must
be installed. This switch must have a contact gap of at least 3mm
and also be lockable in the neutral position.
– To increase safety, it is recommended that the machine be con-
nected to a ground fault circuit breaker with a tip current of 30 mA.
– If necessary, equipotential bonding can be carried out.
– The power cord may only be replaced by an original Miele spare
part.
– For technical data, see the data plate or the accompanying wiring
diagram.
The dishwasher may only be operated with the voltage, frequency
and fuse protection indicated on the data plate.
This appliance can be converted to a different type of power sup-
ply in accordance with the accompanying conversion and wiring dia-
grams.
The conversion diagram and the data plate are supplied with and
affixed to the appliance, respectively.
Grounding con-
nection
The ground lead must be connected to the screw connection point
(marked with the ground symbol ) at the back of the machine.
