1. Gather all required tools and compare package contents with parts lists to make sure all parts are present.
2. Determine mounting location and method considering the following factors:
A. Fan can be mounted to the ceiling, at an angle on a sloped ceiling, or to a wall.
B. Fan can be installed on wood and concrete surfaces.
C. Avoid attaching fan to a dome ceiling.
D. Fan should be mounted at least 10 ft. from the floor and at least 10 ft. from surrounding walls to the fan blade.
E. Mounting system: Fan should be properly anchored to an electric ceiling box that can support the fan's weight
and the wiring.
F. Ceiling load: The ceiling must be able to support at least four times the weight of the fan.
G. Electrical box: If the electrical box is installed directly to a ceiling joist, you can bracket the fan to the joist. If the
box is between joists, you will need a support bar.
H. Ceiling type: For drop ceilings, like suspended wooden or plasterboard ceilings, avoid screwing the fan directly
into the ceiling for fall protection and to prevent resonance noises.
3. WARNING! Always turn off power at the circuit breaker box before installing fixtures. If you are unfamiliar with
electrical installations, it is recommended to have a qualified electrician complete your installation.
