If the surface is cracked or severely pied,
switch o the appliance to avoid the possibility
of electric shock and contact an authorized
service technician for repairs.
The space between the cooktop and the range
hood placed above must respect the
specicaons of the hood manufacturer.
For the users of cardiac pacemakers, the
magnec eld may inuence the operaon.

Risk of Electric Shock. If the cord or plug
becomes damaged, disconnect the appliance
from the power supply and replace only with a
cord or plug of the same type.
Do not store items of interest to children in
cabinets above the range or on the backguard of
the range—children climbing on the range to
reach items could be seriously injured.
DO NOT TOUCH SURFACE UNITS, AREAS NEAR
UNITS, OVEN HEATING ELEMENTS, OR INTERIOR
SURFACES OF OVENSurface units and oven
heang elements may be hot even though they
are dark in color. Areas near surface units and
interior surfaces of an oven may become hot
enough to cause burns. During and aer use, do
not touch, or let clothing or other ammable
materials contact these areas unl they have
had sucient me to cool. Other surfaces of the
appliance may become hot enough to cause
burns—among these surfaces are oven doors
and windows of oven doors.
Do not excessively load the oven door by
stepping, leaning, or sing on it at any me.
Damage to the appliance and/or personal injury
can occur.
To eliminate the risk of burns or re by reaching
over heated surface units, cabinet storage space
located above the surface units should be
avoided. If cabinet storage is to be provided, the
risk can be reduced by installing a range hood
that projects horizontally a minimum of 5 inches
beyond the boom of the cabinets.
