3.6.3 Primary ignition + Injector voltage
If there is a problem with the startup or it is suddenly off, it may be necessary to test the primary ignition and the
fuel injector at the same time. If the primary ignition fails, no fuel injector signal will be generated.
Use a P130A probe, one end is connected to channel 1 of the oscilloscope, and the other end is grounded with a
black clip. Use a needle to pierce the signal line at the end of the injector plug, and hook the probe to the metal
needle of the needle;
Use the P130A probe, one end is connected to channel 2 of the oscilloscope, and the other end is grounded with the
black clip. Use a puncture needle to pierce the ground wire of the primary coil, and hook the probe to the metal
needle of the puncture needle.
Use the ATO oscilloscope to perform a combined test on the primary ignition + injector voltage, the specific
operation is shown in Figure 3-52:
