Keep the power cord away from the cutting tool when working The cutting blades can damage the
power cord and lead to contact with live parts.
Do not use the power cord to pull the plug from the outlet. Protect the power cord from heat, oil
and sharp edges.
Regularly check the power supply and charge station cables for signs of damage or ageing.Switch
the device off and pull the mains plug out of the outlet if the power cord is damaged. If the cord of
this device is dam- aged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or their customer service or by a
similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazards.
Do not connect a damaged power cord to the power supply. Do not touch a damaged power cord as
long as it is connected to the power supply. A damaged power cord can result in voltage-carrying
parts being touched.
In the event of a thunderstorm: To reduce the risk of damage to electrical components in the
product and the charging station, we recommend that all connections to the charging station are
disconnected (power supply, boundary wire and guide wire) if there is a risk of a thunderstorm.
Do not handle the charge station or the mower with wet hands.
Battery safety:
This product contains Li-Ion batteries. Do not incinerate batteries or expose to high temperatures,
as they may explode.
After heavy use or in high temperatures the battery may become warm. Allow the product to cool
for 30 minutes before charging.
Do not expose the battery to direct sunlight for long periods and do not place it on a radiator. Heat
damages the battery and there is a risk of explosion.
Keep battery pack dry, clean, and free from oil and grease. Always use a clean cloth when cleaning.
Never use brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-based products, or any solvents to clean battery pack.
Do not open or mutilate the battery. Released electrolyte is corrosive and may cause damage to
the eyes or skin. It may be toxic if swallowed.
Do not crush, drop or damage battery pack. Do not use a battery pack or charger that has been
dropped or received a sharp blow. A damaged battery is subject to explosion. Properly dispose of
a dropped or damaged battery immediately.
Charger safety:
Children must never play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out
by children if they are not supervised.
Before each use, check the charger, cable and plug, and have repairs carried out by qualified
personnel using only original spare parts. Do not use the charger if defective and do not open it
yourself. This ensures the safety of the device is not adversely affected.
Make sure that the mains voltage matches the details on the charger's type plate. Risk of electric
shock.
Disconnect the charger from the mains supply before closing or opening connections to the power
tool. This ensures the rechargeable battery and charger are not damaged.
Keep the charger clean and away from moisture and rain. Never use the charger outdoors. Soiling
and penetration of water increases the risk of electric shock.
The charger may only be used with the corresponding original rechargeable batteries.Charging
other batteries can lead to injuries and the risk of fire. Avoid mechanical damage to the charger.
This can lead to internal short circuits.
The charger must not be operated on or in the immediate vicinity of flammable surfaces (e.g. paper,
textiles). Risk of fire due to heating caused by charging. Do not attempt to charge non-re
chargeable batteries in the charger. The device could be come damaged.
