GENERAL SAFETY RULES
Safety is a combination of common sense, staying alert, and knowing how your lawn mower works.
SAVE THESE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
WARNING: Do not operate this unit until you read this instruction manual for safety,
operation and maintenance instructions. Failure to follow all instructions listed below may
result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious personal injury.
WARNING: Any other use not expressly approved in the present instruction manual can
damage the device and thus present a substantial risk for the user.
The manufacture is not liable for a damage caused by improper use or incorrect operation.
Personal safety:
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience or knowledge.
Do not use while there are other people, especially children nearby. The operator or user is
responsible for any accidents or personal injury or material damage to third parties or their
properly.
Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating the mower.
Do not use the mower while you are tired or under the influence of drugs alcohol or medication.
This may result in serious personal injury.
Use protective personal equipment such as safety glasses, non-skid safety shoes, sturdy gloves to
reduce the risk of personal injury.
Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery and keep hair, clothing and gloves away from moving
parts.
Keep all body parts, especially hands and feet, away from the blade at all times. Do not operate
when barefoot or wearing open toed shoes.
Keep out of reach of children and animals at all times.
Using the device safety:
Only use the mower on grass and lawns, as described in this manual.
The blade will continue to move after the motor is switched off. Never touch the rotating blade.
Ensure that the blade has fully stopped before:
- clearing a blockage
- adjusting the cutting height
- lifting or carrying the mower
- tilting the mower to move
- checking or cleaning the mower
- carrying out any maintenance
Do not operate the mower if it is incomplete or has unauthorized modifications.
Check the area where the mower is to be used and remove any objects that could jam or be thrown
by the mower, such as stones and sticks. Never operate the mower over gravel, as this risks
flicking stones.
Remove any dog mess before mowing.
To prevent imbalance, any damaged or worn-out parts should be replaced.
The operator is responsible for accidents or hazards occurring to other people at their property.
Avoid operating the machine when the grass is wet.
