Extra Sound Settings
• Auto %Irene
Each broadcasting station has its own signal conditions, and so it is not easy for you to
adjust the voh_meevery time the channel is changed. 'Auto \k4ume" lets you automat-
ieally adjust the volmne of the desh'ed channel by lowering the smmd output when
the modulation signal is high or by raising the som_doutput when the modulation sig-
nal is low.
• Melody
You can set a melody to sound when the TV is powered On or Off.
• S m'rol_H_d
'Surrotmd" converts a mono m' stereo signal into simulated surround stored.
Once the 'Surround" is set to 'On", the setting applies to sound ellects such as
Standard, Music, Movie and Speech.
• Turbo Sound
Turbo sound suitably emphasizes both higher and lower bands of sound (and includes
other ellbcts),
