12.2 Cleaning the base unit
WARNING
Risk of electric shock!
An ingress of moisture can cause an
electric shock.
▶ Never immerse the appliance or
the power cord in water or clean in
the dishwasher.
▶ Do not use steam- or high-pres-
sure cleaners to clean the appli-
ance.
1. Remove the drive covers.
2. Wipe the base unit and drive cov-
ers with a soft, damp cloth.
3. Clean the control panel and the
display using a damp microfibre
cloth.
4. Dry the base unit and drive covers
with a soft cloth.

Tip:When processing food such as
carrots, plastic parts may become
discoloured. Remove discolouration
with a soft cloth and a few drops of
cooking oil.
