Connecting an HDMF' or D VI device to the HDMf' inpu
To view the HDMI TM device video:
Select HDMI 1, HDMI 2, HDMI 3 or HDMI 4 video input source
on the TV. (Press the INPUT button on the remote control. For more
information, see "Selecting the video input to view" on page 83.
To connect a DVI device, you will need:
.l. HDMI T''to DVI adapter cable
For proper operation, the length of an HDMI TM to DVI adapter cable
should not exceed 9.8 ft (3m). The recommended length is 6.6 ft
(2m).
.!. 3.5ram Stereo to RCAY-cable
An HDMI TM to DVI adapter cable transfers video only. Separate
analog audio cables are required (see illustration).
NOTE ToensurethattheHDMI"or DVldeviceis resetproperly:
o:. Whenturningonyourelectroniccomponents,turnon theTVfirst,and
thenthe HDM(° or DVldevice.
o:. Whenturningoffyourelectroniccomponents,turnoff theHDMITM or
DVldevicefirst,andthentheTV.

digitalvideowith high-bandwidthdigitalcontentprotection,whichis being
standardizedfor receptionof highdefinitionvideosignals.Becausethisis
anevolvingtechnology,it is possiblethatsomedevicesmaynot operate
properlywith theTV.
