a thin object (such as a toothpick or matchstick).
Caution:
Do not try to adjust the oil flow of the oil pump. Because
it has been adjusted in the optimal position before it left
the factory.
Engine / Chain brake (B16)
This chainsaw is fitted with an engine/chain brake
for your safety.
If the saw suffers recoil, the front hand guard (4)
will strike against your hand and trip the chain
brake. To restart the saw, pull the hand guard
forcefully backwards towards the front handle.
The chain will stop after a maximum of 0.1
second.
Carry out a function test from time to time
To do this, push the hand guard (4) forwards and
switch on the saw briefly. The chain must not
start to move. Release the guard. Pull the hand
guard towards your body. The chain will start
when the saw is switched on.
Machine instructions
Check the chainsaw at regular intervals for signs
of damage.
Ensure that all the parts work correctly and properly.
Please note that all parts must be fitted correctly
in order to function properly.
Have damaged parts repaired immediately in an
after-sales workshop.

Chain lubrication (B13-B15)
The chainsaw is supplied without oil.
Unscrew the oil tank cover (12). Fill the oil tank
with biologically degradable chain oil.
Never use recycled oil or used oil.
Ensure that no dirt gets into the oil tank.
The chainsaw must never be operated without
oil.
If the chainsaw is operated without oil, the entire
saw will suffer damage within a very short period
of time.
Check the oil level and the chain lubrication
system before every starting work.
Check the automatic function of the chain lubrication
system by holding the running saw with the tip of the
bar against a sheet of paper on the ground. Keep a safe
distance! If an increasing oil mark can be seen on the
paper, the automatic
lubrication system is working correctly when the saw
chain is running.
Always ensure that the oil discharge duct (20) is
free of dirt at all times. If necessary clean it with
