Only start the petrol chainsaw away from the
refuelling point.
Ensure that the cover on the tank is always well
sealed. Watch for possible leaks.
Do not open the tank cover or refuel the machine
whilst the engine is running or when the machine
is hot.
Open the tank cover slowly so that the petrol
vapours can escape.
Ensure that the handles are clean, dry and free of
the petrol mixture.
Do not use the machine without the exhaust. You
may suffer burns if you ignore this.
Use only the fuel recommended in this manual.
Only keep petrol in containers designed for this
purpose and in a safe place.
Switch off the machine before you put it down.
Only work in daylight or in good artificial light.
Conduct a visual inspection of the machine before use.
Check that all screws and connectors are tight.
Always hold the machine firmly in both hands.
Check the machine and its components and
safety equipment every time before use for signs
of damage and wear and have any repair work
carried out without delay. Never render protective
and safety equipment non-functional. Do not use
the machine if you discover signs of damage or
wear.
Do not overload the machine and do not use it for any
work for which it is not designed.
Ensure that the ventilation openings are always
free of dirt.
Keep the machine out of the reach of children.
Check the machine for signs of damage after any
collisions of other types of damage.
Use only the accessories recommended by the
manufacturer.
Only have the machine repaired by trained
personnel and using only genuine spare parts.
This will ensure that the safety of the machine is
maintained.
Do not use the chainsaw near inflammable liquids
or gases or in a wet or damp environment. If you
ignore this, there is a risk of fire or explosion.
Never leave the machine running unattended.
