Connecting two VCRs
This connection allows you to record (dub/edit) from one VCR to
another VCR while watching a videotape. You can also record from
one TV channel while watching another TV channel.
You will need:
two coaxial cables (one or more may be provided by your cable
company)
two sets of standard A/V cables
VCR1
From Antenna
TV
VCR2
Note:
If you have S-VHS VCRs,use S-video cables
instead of standard video cablesfor better
picture performance. Do not connect both a
standard videocable and an S-video cable to
Video-1 (or Video-2) at thesame time, or the
picture performance will be unacceptable.
Do not connect the same VCR to the output
and inputjacks on the TV at the same time.
Todub or edit, VCR2 mustse/ect Line/IV,
and the TVmust se/ect VIDEO 1 (see
"Selectingthe antenna input" on page 23).
* The VideoOUTjack doesnot output the
PiPpicture.
** TheAudio OUTjacks can output the sound
of either the Main or P/P picture (see
"SelectingtheAudio OUT sound" on
page 50).

Connecting a camcorder
This connection allows you to watch video materials recorded on a
camcorder.
You will need:
one set of standard A/V cables
Camcorder
Note:
If you have an S-VHS camcorder, use an
S-video cable between the S-videojacks on
the camcorder and TV instead of a standard
videocable. Do not connect both a standard
videocable and an S-video cable at the same
time, or the picture performance will be
unacceptable.
