Setting Noise Reduction
Cautions for Setting Multi Shot Noise Reduction
o
If there is signicant misalignment in the image due to camera shake,
the noise reduction e󰀨ect may become smaller.
o
If you are handholding the camera, keep it steady to prevent camera
shake. Using a tripod is recommended.
o
If you shoot a moving subject, the moving subject may leave
afterimages.
o
Auto image alignment may not function properly with repetitive patterns
(lattice, stripes, etc.) or at, single-tone images.
o
If the subject’s brightness changes as the four consecutive shots are
taken, irregular exposure in the image may result.
o
After shooting, it may take some time to record an image to the card
after performing noise reduction and merging the images. [BUSY] is
displayed as images are processed, and shooting is not possible until
processing is nished.
o
AEB is not available.
o
[Multi Shot Noise Reduction] is not available with bulb shooting, Servo
AF, Silent shutter, shooting with AEB or WB bracketing, shooting RAW
or RAW+JPEG images, or with features such as long exposure noise
reduction, multiple exposures, or HDR mode.
o
Flash photography is not possible. Note that the AF-assist beam of EOS-
dedicated, external Speedlites will be emitted according to the [
2
4:
AF-assist beam ring] setting.
o
[Multi Shot Noise Reduction] is not available (not displayed) when
recording movies.
o
[Standard] will be set automatically if you do any of the following: Setting
the power switch to <
2
>, replacing card, or setting shooting mode to
other than [

], [
s
