or & turn machine
off & then on

Unplug the device from the USB direct
interface, then press On/Off to turn the
machine off and then on again.

Wrong Paper Size Paper is not the correct size. 1 Check that the machine's Paper Size
setting matches the size of paper in the
tray. (See Paper Size and Type
on page 28.)
2 Also, check that the machine is set to
use the tray with the paper size you
want. (See Tray use in Copy mode
on page 29 and Tray use in Fax mode
on page 29.)
3 Make sure you loaded the paper in a
Portrait position, as shown in the label
on the tray.
4 (Duplex copy) After you have checked
the above settings and the paper
position, press Black Start or
Color Start to continue printing.
