Whole Wheat Bread
3 cups hot tap water

cup oil

cup honey
1 Tbsp salt
2 Tbsp Vital Wheat Gluten
1 Tbsp Dough Enhancer
2 Tbsp SAF instant yeast
7–8 cups freshly milled whole wheat flour
Pour all ingredients into MUM5
mixing bowl.*
Turn mixer to speed 2 and allow to
knead for 8–10 minutes, adding
additional flour or water if needed.
Shape into 2–3 loaves.
Let rise until doubled.
Bake at 350°F for 30–35 minutes.
* This kitchen machine makes better
bread if all ingredients are add all at the
same time.
Yummy Orange Rolls

4 Tbsp sugar
5 Tbsp shortening
1 tsp salt
1 cup scalded milk (cool)

– 4 cups flour
1 Tbsp yeast
Orange Mixture:
(Mix the following 3 ingredients together)
1 cup sugar
6 Tbsp butter (not melted)
Grated rind of one orange
Put all ingredients in MUM5 and mix
5 –7 minutes.
Roll out on counter into large
rectangle.
Mix sugar, butter and grated orange
rind together. Spread evenly on
dough.
Roll up evenly (as for cinnamon rolls).
Slice roll into 1" thick slices.
Place in buttered muffin tins.
Let rise double.
Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes.
Almond Sweet Rolls
¾ cup blanched almonds, chopped

1 cup milk, scalded and cooled

cup unsalted soft butter

cups all-purpose flour
2 eggs
3 Tbsp sugar (to be used for topping with
nuts)
To MUM5 mixing bowl add warm
water, sugar and yeast.
Add warm milk, salt, shortening or
butter and flour.
Mix well.
Add eggs and

cup of chopped
almonds.
Beat on Speed 2 for 3–4 minutes or
until smooth.
Cover bowl and allow batter to rise
until doubled (about 1 hour).
Meanwhile combine remaining
chopped almonds with 3 Tbsp sugar.
Reserve this mixture.
