TROUBLESHOOTING
The display flashes faster in switch
position 1–4
– if the appliance has been operated
incorrectly or
– the fuse has tripped or
– the appliance is damaged.

WARNING
Before dealing a problem, unplug the
appliance.
Risk of electric shock or injury!
Problem Possible Cause and Remedy
No power. A circuit breaker may have tripped or a fuse has
blown in power supply circuit.
Reset circuit breaker or replace fuse.
There is power to unit, but nothing
happens when rotary switch is
turned.
The swivel arm must be engaged in every
operating position.
Check swivel arm. Correct position?
Engaged?
The appliance can be switched on in position 1
and 3 only when the bowl has been inserted and
turned until it locks into place.
Screw on bowl as far as possible.
The safety lock is active.
Turn the power unit to the off position “O/Off”
and then back to the required setting.
Appliance switches off during use. The overload protection feature has been
activated. Too much food was processed at
one time.
Turn the power unit to the off position “O/Off”
and unplug.
Remove contents of attachment being used
and loosen whatever has caused the jam.
Reinstall attachment and restart.
