studiescanprovidedatathatisdirectlyapplicabletohumanpopulations,but
tenormoreyearsfollow-upmaybeneededtoprovideanswersaboutsome
healtheffects,suchascancer.Thisisbecausetheintervalbetweenthetime
ofexposuretoacancer-causingagentandthetimetumorsdevelop-ifthey
do-maybemany,manyyears.Theinterpretationofepidemiologicalstudies

1996.Aninuentialresultofthisworkhasbeenthedevelopmentofa
detailedagendaofresearchneedsthathasdriventheestablishmentofnew
