Patatas Bravas
These perfectly crisp bites of potato paired with a spicy-creamy
tomato sauce are one of Spain’s most popular tapas. They’re
also super tasty served alongside roast chicken.
1. In a large bowl, toss the potatoes with the vegetable oil, salt,
pepper, garlic powder and ½ tablespoon of the paprika until
evenly coated.
2. Insert the stir attachment into the fry basket, then transfer the
potatoes to the basket. Position the basket in the air oven in
the lowest position possible.
3. Set to air fry at 350°F for 22 minutes, press Stir, then press
Start.
4. Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, combine the tomato sauce,
mayonnaise, onion, vinegar, remaining ½ tablespoon paprika,
coriander, dried oregano, thyme, and cayenne.
5. When the time expires, check that the potatoes are tender,
golden brown, and crisp. If not, air fry for another 1 to
2 minutes.
6. Transfer the potatoes to a serving plate. Serve drizzled
with the sauce and sprinkled with the fresh oregano, if using.
Alternatively, serve the sauce in a bowl for dipping.

1 Tbsp red wine vinegar
1 tsp ground coriander
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried thyme
½ tsp cayenne
