NOTE NFC (Near Field Communication) is a wireless technology that enables data transmission
between two objects when they are brought within a few inches of each others. When
you enable NFC on your phone, it can exchange data with other NFC-enabled devices
or read information from smart tags embedded in posters, stickers, and other products.
From the NFC settings menu, you can manage direct sharing and via NFC.
Direct/Android Beam - Tap the Direct/Android Beam switch to turn
this function on.
When this feature is turned on, you can beam app contents or files to other
NFC and Wi-Fi Direct devices by holding the devices close together.
For example, you can beam Browser pages, YouTube videos, contacts, and
more. And you can beam images/videos from the Gallery, music from the
Music, and documents from the Polaris Viewer 4. Just bring the devices
together (typically back to back) and then touch your screen. The app deter-
mines what gets beamed.
Miracast - You can mirror phone screen and sound onto LG Miracast
dongle or TV wirelessly. Tap
to turn Miracast on or off and connect
with a device. Tap Help for more information.
NOTE To start the Miracast feature quickly, touch the Miracast icon in the Notifications
Panel. While mirroring, Wi-Fi or Mobile Hotspot cannot be used simultaneously.
SmartShare Beam - Enable to receive files from LG phones. Tap to
turn this feature on or off and set the available options.
File networking - File Networking requires wireless connection. Make
sure that devices are using same AP(Access Point). Network folder sharing
may use more battery. Tap the Menu Key
