WIRING SAFETY FOR UK USE ONLY
IMPORTANT
As the colours in the mains lead of this appliance
may not correspond with the coloured markings
identifying the terminals in your plug, please
proceed as follows:
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in
accordance with the following code:
Blue neutral [N] Brown live [L]
Plug Fitting Details (Where Applicable).
The wire coloured blue is the neutral and must
be connected to the terminal marked [N] or
coloured black.
The wire coloured brown is the live wire and
must be connected to the terminal marked [L] or
coloured red.
On no account must either the brown or the blue
wire be connected to the [EARTH] terminal .
Always ensure that the cord grip is fastened
correctly.
The plug must be tted with a fuse of the same
rating already tted and conforming to BS 1362
and be ASTA approved.
If in doubt consult a qualied electrician who will
be pleased to do this for you.
Non-Rewireable Mains Plug.
If your appliance is supplied with a non-
rewireable plug tted to the mains lead and
should the fuse need replacing, you must use an
ASTA approved one (conforming to BS 1362 of
the same rating).
If in doubt, consult a qualied electrician who will
be pleased to do this for you.
If you need to remove the plug – disconnect
it from the mains – and then cut it o of the
mains lead and immediately dispose of it in a
safe manner. Never attempt to reuse the plug or
insert it into a socket outlet as there is a danger
of an electric shock.

BEFORE YOUR FIRST USE:
1. Remove your appliance from the packaging.
2. Keep the front of the appliance through which
the heat is radiated at least one meter away from
furniture, curtains and other ammable objects at
all times.
3. Ensure there is a grounded socket nearby (back of
the appliance).
4. Never use an extension lead. The main cable must
remain at the back of the appliance and must not
be in contact with any hot elements.
5. Your appliance is now ready for normal use.
6. Dispose of the packaging in a responsible manner.
USING YOUR APPLIANCE:
Turning the unit On and Off:
1. To power the unit on, rst plug it into an active
mains socket. The pilot light on the unit’s control
panel will come on to indicate the unit is plugged
in.
2. Once the unit has been plugged into the mains,
turn the heat selection dial to any position other
than 0 and the thermostat dial clockwise, away
from the ‘-‘ position, to turn it on. The temperature
dial will give o a clicking sound and air will start
emitting from the front grille to show the unit is in
operation.
WARNING! DO NOT touch the grille while the heater in
operation, as it will be very hot and there will be a risk
of burns.
3. To power the unit o, turn the heat selection dial
to the 0 position and the thermostat dial counter-
clockwise to the ‘-‘ position. The temperature
dial will give o a clicking sound and air will stop
emitting from the front grille to show the unit has
been powered down.
WARNING! DO NOT store the unit directly after turning
it o. Allow for time for the unit to cool down before
storing.
Mode Selection:
This heater oers a choice of 2 heat settings - Low
(I) and High (II.
Turn the mode selection dial counter-clockwise to
cycle between O (0), Flame, Low and High heat
settings. Turn this dial clockwise to cycle between
High heat, Low heat, Flame and O (0) settings.
Turn the heat selection dial to the 0 position to turn
the unit o.
Heat Selection:
This heater is equipped with an adjustable
thermostat, which allows for temperature control
within each of the 2 heat settings.
Use the thermostat dial to manually increase
or lower the heating temperature. Turn this dial
clockwise away from the O position to increase
the temperature, or counter-clockwise towards the
O position to decrease it.
CHECK THAT YOU HAVE NOTED ALL THE
FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS:
Never leave children unsupervised in a room where
the re is ON and unguarded.
Never obstruct or cover the fan outlet or force
items into the re openings.
Never install or use the re anywhere where water
is in use, i.e. bathrooms, kitchens, shower rooms,
swimming pools etc.
Never use aerosols or steam cleaners on or
around the re.
Never route the mains supply cable under carpet
etc.
Never install the re close to curtains or
combustible materials.
Never use the re to dry clothes etc.
Never sit or stand on the re.
Never cut the o the plug and hard wire into a
xed fused spur.
NOTE: When the re is turned on for the rst time
or when it has not been used for some time, it may
release a slight, harmless odour. This odour is a normal
occurrence caused by the initial heating of the internal
heating elements or dust, and will disappear with use.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
Safety Cut-Out devices:
To ensure against the potential hazard caused by
blockage of the air outlet, this unit is equipped with an
automatic overheat safety cut-out device and a built-in
tip over switch. When the device is activated the heater
will not operate. If this occurs, the unit can be reset using
the following procedure.
1. Turn the re o by depressing the on/o switch on
the unit.
2. Unplug the power cord form the electrical mains
supply socket and leave it disconnected for at
least 15 minutes.
3. Ensure that the air vents are free from obstruction.
4. Plug the power cord back into the mains socket.
5. Turn the re back on.
6. If the re fails to operate, check the fuse in the
plug.
7. If the fuse in the plug is OK and the re is still not
functioning, contact a qualied person.

CLEANING AND CARE
WARNING! Always disconnect from the mains supply
before cleaning the wall re.
CAUTION! Allow the product to completely cool before
handling or cleaning it.
To remove the dust, wipe the appliance with a dry
cloth.
To keep the heater clean, the outer shell may be
cleaned with a soft, damp cloth. After cleaning, dry
the unit with a soft cloth.
CAUTION! DO NOT let liquid enter the heater. This
may cause damage or deterioration to the heater’s
surface.
WARNING! DO NOT immerse the heater in water
or any other liquid.
Never use abrasives or detergents.
If the heater shows any signs of wear or damage
disconnect immediately from the mains supply,
and do NOT use it – have it checked by a suitably
qualied person.
This product does not use a standard bulb for its
ame eect. The appliance uses an electronically
controlled LED system to create the eect,
therefore no parts need to be replaced. There
are no user-serviceable parts on this appliance.
Under no circumstances should the appliance
be serviced be anyone other than a qualied
electrician.
STORING THE UNIT
WARNING! Always disconnect from the mains supply
before cleaning.
Store in a cool, dry place, out of the reach of
children.
WARNING:
DO NOT IMMERSE ANY ELECTRICAL PART OF THE
APPLIANCE IN WATER SUCH AS MOTOR UNITS OR
PLUGS.
