WIRING SAFETY FOR UK USE ONLY
IMPORTANT
As the colours in the mains lead of this appliance
may not correspond with the coloured markings
identifying the terminals in your plug, please
proceed as follows:
The wires in the mains lead are labelled in
accordance with the following code:
Blue neutral [N] Brown live [L]
Green/Yellow [EARTH]
Plug Fitting Details (Where Applicable). The
wire labelled blue is the neutral and must be
connected to the terminal marked [N].
The wire labelled brown is the live wire and must
be connected to the terminal marked [L].
The wire labelled green/yellow must be
connected to the terminal marked with the letter
[E].
On no account must either the brown or the blue
wire be connected to the [EARTH] terminal.
Always ensure that the cord grip is fastened
correctly.
The plug must be tted with a fuse of the same
rating already tted and conforming to BS 1362
and be ASTA approved.
If in doubt consult a qualied electrician who will
be pleased to do this for you.
Non-Rewireable Mains Plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-
rewireable plug tted to the mains lead and
should the fuse need replacing, you must use an
ASTA approved one (conforming to BS 1362 of
the same rating).
If in doubt, consult a qualied electrician who will
be pleased to do this for you.
If you need to remove the plug - disconnect it
from the mains - then cut it o of the mains lead
and immediately dispose of it in a safe manner.
Never attempt to reuse the plug or insert it into a
socket outlet as there is a danger of an electric

BEFORE YOUR FIRST USE:
1. Remove your appliance from the packaging.
2. Attach the legs as per the instructions opposite.
3. Keep the front of the appliance, through which the heat is radiated, at least one metre away
from furniture, curtains and other ammable objects at all times.
4. Ensure there is a grounded socket nearby (back of the appliance).
5. Never use an extension lead. The main cable must remain at the back of the appliance and
must not be in contact with any hot elements.
6. Your appliance is now ready for normal use.
Dispose of the packaging in a responsible manner.

ATTACHING THE LEGS TO THE MAIN UNIT
1. To begin attaching the legs, rst turn the
re on its side.
2. Place a leg on each corner and use 4
screws for each leg.
3. Tighten the screws clockwise until tight on
each leg.
4. Pull the unit back up to a standing
position, making sure it is stable.
5. Place the unit in the required location and
plug it into a power socket.
6. The appliance is now ready for use.
CONTROL PANEL
1. ON/OFF – Turns the appliance and the
fame eect on and o.
2. Flame Adjustment – Controls the
brightness of the ame eect.
3. Temperature Control – Controls the unit’s
heating temperature.
NOTE: The ame eect can be operated
independently from the heating element. To
turn down the temperature without turning o
the ame eect, rotate the temperature control
dial to the left, but leave the ame adjustment
dial turned to the right. This will allow the ame
eect to continue working while stopping the
heat output from the unit.
USING YOUR APPLIANCE
1. Plug the heater into the mains and switch
it on. Press the ON/OFF switch to turn it
on.
2. Use the ame adjustment dial to select the
brightness of the ame.
3. Use the temperature control dial to select
your desired temperature.
4. When you have nished using the heater,
turn the temperature control dial to the
lowest setting to power down the unit.
5. Turn the appliance o by pressing the ON/
OFF button. The light on the button will
turn o to indicate the heater is powered
down.
6. Unplug the heater at the mains and switch
o the socket.
AUTO SAFETY CUT-OFF
This appliance automatically regulates its own
temperature so that it does not overheat.
The heater will automatically turn o when it
reaches an unsafe temperature. If this occurs,
switch the heater o, unplug it at the mains and
allow it to cool. The appliance will be safe to
use once it reaches a safe temperature again.
• For safety reasons, the re will NOT
automatically reset when the auto safety
cut-o is enabled.
• To reset the appliance, disconnect the
appliance from the mains supply for at
least 15 minutes. Once sucient time
has elapsed, reconnect the supply to the
mains and turn the appliance back on.

CLEANING AND CARE
• Before cleaning, always switch o the re
and remove the plug from the electrical
socket.
• Ensure that the unit is cool enough to
work on.
• To remove dust, wipe the appliance with
a dry cloth.
• To keep the heater clean, the outer
shell may be cleaned with a soft, damp
cloth. You may use a mild detergent if
necessary. After cleaning, dry the unit with
a soft cloth.
• CAUTION! DO NOT allow liquids to enter
any part of the appliance, as this may
cause damage or deterioration to the
heater’s surface.
• WARNING! DO NOT immerse the heater
in water or any other liquid.
• Never use abrasive powders or solvents.
• If the heater shows any signs of wear or
damage disconnect immediately from
the mains supply and have it checked
by a suitably qualied person. DO NOT
use the heater when it is damaged or
malfunctioning.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
Problem Solution
The heater will not turn on. Make sure the appliance is plugged into the mains and
that it is switched on. If plugged in, make sure the ON/
OFF button is in the On position and that the button’s LED
light is on.
The auto safety temperature cut-out may be enabled.
Switch o the heater and unplug it from the mains. Allow
it to cool before using again. For more information, refer to
the auto safety cut-out section.
No re eect light. Have the heater checked by the manufacturer or a
qualied service person.

OF THE APPLIANCE IN WATER SUCH AS
MOTOR UNITS OR PLUGS.
