WIRING SAFETY FOR UK USE ONLY
IMPORTANT
As the colours in the mains lead of this appliance
may not correspond with the coloured markings
identifying the terminals in your plug, please
proceed as follows:
The wires in the mains lead are labelled in
accordance with the following code:
Blue neutral [N] Brown live [L]
Green/Yellow [EARTH]
Plug Fitting Details (Where Applicable). The
wire labelled blue is the neutral and must be
connected to the terminal marked [N].
The wire labelled brown is the live wire and must
be connected to the terminal marked [L].
The wire labelled green/yellow must be
connected to the terminal marked with the letter
[E].
On no account must either the brown or the blue
wire be connected to the [EARTH] terminal.
Always ensure that the cord grip is fastened
correctly.
The plug must be tted with a fuse of the same
rating already tted and conforming to BS 1362
and be ASTA approved.
If in doubt consult a qualied electrician who will
be pleased to do this for you.
Non-Rewireable Mains Plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-
rewireable plug tted to the mains lead and
should the fuse need replacing, you must use an
ASTA approved one (conforming to BS 1362 of
the same rating).
If in doubt, consult a qualied electrician who will
be pleased to do this for you.
If you need to remove the plug - disconnect it
from the mains - then cut it o of the mains lead
and immediately dispose of it in a safe manner.
Never attempt to reuse the plug or insert it into a
socket outlet as there is a danger of an electric

When not being used, please
unplug the heater from the
mains socket.

bath, a shower, a swimming
pool or similar indoor
locations.

BEFORE YOUR FIRST USE:
1. Remove your appliance from the packaging.
2. Attach the legs as per the instructions opposite. Note: The actual product may dier from the
illustrations.
3. Keep the front of the appliance through which the heat is radiated at least one meter away from
furniture, curtains and other ammable objects at all times.
4. Ensure there is a grounded socket nearby (back of the appliance).
5. Never use an extension lead. The main cable must remain at the back of the appliance and
must not be in contact with any hot elements.
6. Your appliance is now ready for normal use.
Dispose of the packaging in a responsible manner.

ATTACHING THE LEGS
1. Turn the re on its side to start attaching
the legs.
2. Attach each leg to the heater by inserting
the tab on the top of the leg into the
corresponding slot on the bottom of the
appliance.
3. Insert the 3 screws into the pre-drilled
holes.
4. Tighten the screws clockwise until tight on
each leg.
5. Turn the unit back up to standing position
making sure it is stable.
6. Place the unit in the required location and
plug in. The appliance should now be
ready for use.
CONTROL PANEL
Temperature Control Knob – Allows you to
adjust the temperature.
Power/Flame Switch – Turns the heater on/o
and switches on the ame eect.
First Heat Switch – Turns on/o the 1000W
heat setting.
Second Heat Switch – Turns on the 2000W
setting. (Only works when both the rst and
second heat switches are pressed.)
Flame Dimmer Control – Adjusts the ame’s
intensity.
USING YOUR APPLIANCE
1. Plug the heater into the mains and switch
it on. Press the Power/Flame switch to
turn it on.
2. Use the Flame Dimmer Control to select
the brightness of the ame.
3. Turn the Temperature Control dial to select
the desired temperature.
4. To turn on the 1000W setting, turn the
rst heat switch on. To select the 2000W
setting, turn both the rst and second
heat switches on simultaneously.
5. When nished using the heater, use the
Temperature Control dial to lower the
temperature to the lowest setting.
6. Make sure both the frst and second heat
switches are in the O position.
7. Turn the ame dimmer dial to the lowest
setting.
8. Turn o the appliance by pressing the
Power/Flame switch.
9. Unplug the heater at the mains and switch
o the socket.
AUTO SAFETY CUT-OFF
This appliance regulates its own internal
temperature so that it does not overheat.
The heater will automatically turn o when
it reaches an unsafe temperature. If this
occurs, switch the heater o, unplug it
at the mains and allow it to cool o. The
appliance can be used again when it
reaches a safe temperature.
Note: Always ensure the heater’s inlets and
outlets are not covered
For safety reasons, the re will NOT
automatically reset when the auto safety
cut-o is enabled.

To reset the appliance, disconnect it
appliance from the mains supply for at
least 15 minutes. Once this time has
elapsed, econnect the supply to the mains
and switch on the appliance.
If the appliance still fails to turn on, consult
a qualied technician or contact our
Customer Support team.
CLEANING AND CARE
Before cleaning always switch o the re
and remove the plug from the electrical
socket.
Ensure that the unit is cool enough to
work on.
Wipe the appliance with a dry cloth to
remove dust and debris.
The outer shell may be cleaned with a
soft, damp cloth. You may use a mild
detergent if necessary. After cleaning, dry
the unit with a soft cloth.
CAUTION! DO NOT let liquid enter the
heater. This may cause damage or
deterioration to the heater’s surface.
WARNING! DO NOT immerse the heater
in water or any other liquid.
Never use abrasive powders or solvents.
If the heater shows any signs of wear or
damage disconnect immediately from the
mains supply and have it checked by a
suitably qualied person. DO NOT attempt
to use the heater when it appears worn or
damaged.
TROUBLE SHOOTING

Make sure the appliance
is plugged into the mains
and that it is switched on. If
plugged in, make sure the
Power button is in the On
position.
The auto safety temperature
cut-out may be enabled.
Switch o the heater and
unplug it from the mains.
Allow it to cool before using
again. For more information,
refer to the auto safety cut-
out section.
