IMPORTANT
As the colours in the mains lead of this appliance
may not correspond with the coloured markings
identifying the terminals in your plug, please
proceed as follows:
The wires in the mains lead are labelled in
accordance with the following code:
Blue neutral [N] Brown live [L] Green/Yellow
[EARTH]
Plug Fitting Details (Where Applicable).
The wire labelled blue is the neutral and must be
connected to the terminal marked [N].
The wire labelled brown is the live wire and must
be connected to the terminal marked [L].
The wire labelled green/yellow must be
connected to the terminal marked with the letter
[E].
On no account must either the brown or the blue
wire be connected to the [EARTH] terminal.
Always ensure that the cord grip is fastened
correctly.
The plug must be tted with a fuse of the same

HANDLING
Before continuing any further with the installation of this
re please read the following:
• Two people should be sucient to lift the re.
• When lifting always keep your back straight. Bend
your legs and not your back.
• Avoid twisting at the waist. It is better to reposition
your feet.
• Avoid upper body / top heavy bending. Always
bend from the knees rather than the waist. Do not
lean forward or sideways whilst handling the re.
• Always grip with the palm of your hand. Do not
use the tips of ngers for support.
• Always keep the product as close to the body as
possible to prevent unnecessary and undue strain
on the body.
• Use gloves to provide additional grip.
• Always use assistance if required.
UNPACKING THE PRODUCT
The appliance is supplied in a single package carton.
Carefully unpack the product using the following
procedure:
• Ensure that the product is in the correct position
with the carton wording legible.
• Remove the straps and sleeve.
• Carefully lift the replace out of the box.
• Remove the protective packaging and bag from
the appliance.
• Ensure all parts including loose items have been
removed prior to discarding the packaging.
• Read all instructions prior to unpacking or installing
the appliance.
IMPORTANT: Please ensure there is adequate space
for installation. Please ensure that there is an accessible
electrical socket within the space for installation. The
electrical socket must not be behind or above the re
INSTALLATION
• The Electric re is supplied with approximately
1.7 meters of exible mains cable (1mm2).The
appliance should be located close to a suitable
mains socket and MUST be easily accessible to
allow proper connection.
• This appliance must not be directly installed on a
carpet or similar material. We recommend that it
is tted onto a hearth or similar non-combustible
material.
• This re MUST be earthed. If in any doubt consult
the manufacturer, its service center or a qualied
person.
The heater is suitable for installation into a location that
has an opening size within the guidelines shown below:

BEFORE YOUR FIRST USE:
1. Remove your appliance from the packaging.
2. Install your appliance in accordance with the
installation & safety instructions.
3. Your appliance is now ready for normal use.
Dispose of the packaging in a responsible manner.
NOTE: Before connecting the re to the power, please
remove the two pieces of foam from the rear. You can
choose to use the rear surround or not.
USING YOUR APPLIANCE:
Standby status:
• The re displays standby symbol and timer
symbol (The timer symbol will not illuminate
if no time is set or the button on remote
control is at the OFF position).
Switch on status :
• The re displays date/time, room temperature and
ame brightness level.
NOTE: Set the actual date/time before rst use.
Turning the unit On and Off:
The appliance can be operated either by the touch
switches located to the right hand side of the re canopy
or by the remote control.

Manual Operation:
• Switch on the standby switch at the left hand side
of the re canopy.
• Press the O/I button once to turn on the appliance
and re eect. A red indicator light will appear to
indicate that the function is ON.
• Press the O/I button for 3 seconds this will operate
the dimmer mode. There are 5 levels of ame
brightness available.
• Press the 1000W button once for the low heat
setting. A red indicator light will appear to indicate
the function; press twice to switch o the heat
setting.
• Press the 2000W button once for the high heat
setting. A red indicator light will appear to indicate
the function; press twice to switch o the heat
setting.
Remote Operation:
Adjusting the Flame Effect Brightness:
• Press the “DIMMER” button on the remote control
to operate the dimmer mode. There are 5 levels
ame brightness available. The ame brightness
changes, step by step, with each press of the
button.
Setting the Time and Date:
• Settings are made using the remote control.
• Press the “DATE TIME” button, then press the “▲”
or “▼” button to select the date.
• Press the “DATE TIME” button again, then press
the “+” or “-” button to set the hour.
• Press the “DATE TIME” button again, then press
the “+” or “-” button to set the minute.
• Press the “OK” button to conrm and complete.
Selecting the Temperature:
NOTE: The set temperature must be higher than the
room temperature for the heat to be emitted.
• Press the “+” or “-” button on the remote control
to set the temperature, which ranges from 15 to
30℃. The default set temperature is 20 ℃.
Selecting the Heating Operation:
• Press the ON/OFF button once on the remote
control to turn the re and ame eect ON/OFF.
• Press the “1000W” button once to turn the low-
level heating on and press twice to stop heating.
• Press the “2000W” button once to turn the high-
level heating on and press twice to stop heating.
NOTE: The set temperature must be higher than the
room temperature for heat to be emitted.
The AUTO Function (Intelligent Control):
• Press the “IC” button on the remote control to turn
the automatic heating ON or OFF.
• When turned on, the re will automatically
change the heating mode depending on the set
temperature and the room temperature.
• During a timed starting process, it is possible to
start heating ahead of schedule.
NOTE: The set temperature must be higher than the
room temperature for heat to be emitted.
The Timer Function:
• Up to 10 dierent timer settings can be
programmed.
• Each timer setting consists of a Date, Timer ON
time and Timer OFF time.
• The maximum duration of each setting is 23 hours
50 minutes.
• The date for each setting can be any day or days
of a week.
• The date in each timer setting represents the date
of the Timer ON time.
• If the Timer OFF time being set falls on the second
day, it is unnecessary to set the date – you just set
the Timer OFF time.
Setting the Timer:
1. Select the settings
• Press the “TIMER SET” button, and the “serial
number” of the setting starts blinking.
• Press the “+” or “-” button to change the “serial
number” until you arrive at the serial number of
setting that you need to set or modify.
2. Select the date
• Press the “TIMER SET” button once again, and the
cursor on the left side of date starts blinking.

• Press the “▲” or “▼”button to move the cursor
to the corresponding date, press the “+” button to
add the corresponding date, or press “-” button to
delete the date. Continue until you have completed
the selection of all dates.
3. Set the Timer ON time
• Press the “TIMER SET” button; the hour starts
blinking.
• Press the “+” or “-” button to adjust the hour.
• Press the “TIMER SET” button; the minute starts
blinking.
• Press the “+” or “-” button to adjust the minute.
4. Set the Timer OFF time
• Press the “TIMER SET” button; the display is OFF,
and the hour starts blinking.
• Press the “+” or “-” button to adjust the hour.
• Press the “TIMER SET” button; the minute starts
blinking.
• Press the “+” or “-” button to adjust the minute.
5. Set the temperature
• Press the “TIMER SET” button, and the
temperature set starts blinking. At this moment,
the temperature displayed is normally the set
temperature, which can then be adjusted by
pressing “+” or “-” button.
6. Press the “TIMER SET” button and then press the
“OK” button to complete the setting programme.
Steps to view the timer setting:
• Press the “TIMER SET” button.
• Press the “+” or “-” button to check the Timer ON
times one by one.
• To check the Timer OFF times, press the “▲”
button.
• Press the “+” or “-” button to continue viewing.
• For deleting the current item of timer setting, press
the “C” button to delete.
Safety Cut-Out:
• This appliance is tted with a safety cut-out
which will operate if the re overheats (e.g. due to
blocked air vents). For safety reasons, the re will
NOT automatically reset.
• To reset the appliance, disconnect the appliance
from the mains supply for at least 15 minutes.
• Reconnect the supply to the mains and switch on
the appliance.
CAUTION! Do not touch the re as it will be hot. Set the
heater switches to OFF and leave the re to cool down
fully. Once completely cool, reconnect the heater and
switch it on. Do not open this product. There are no
user-serviceable parts inside.
CHECK THAT YOU HAVE NOTED ALL THE
FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS:

• Always install the re in accordance with this
guide. If in doubt obtain expert advice.
• Always make sure the electrical socket is
accessible and located adjacent to, but not above
or behind the re.
• Always disconnect the re from the electrical
supply before carrying out cleaning or
maintenance.
• Always make sure the re is rmly secured.
• Always assemble the re in accordance with this
guide. If in doubt, obtain expert advice.
• Always ensure the product is assembled in an area
that is free from dust, grease or liquids.
• Always ensure that the correct tools are used to
assemble/install this product.
• Always make sure the re is rmly secured in place
when complete.
Don’t:
• Never leave children unsupervised in a room where
the re is ON and unguarded.
• Never obstruct or cover the fan outlet or force
items into the re openings.
• Never install or use the re anywhere where water
is in use, i.e. bathrooms, kitchens, shower rooms,
swimming pools etc.
• Never use aerosols or steam cleaners on or
around the re.
• Never route the mains supply cable under carpet
etc.
• Never install the re close to curtains or
combustible materials.
• Never use the re to dry clothes etc.
• Never sit or stand on the re.
• Never cut the o the plug and hard wire into a
xed fused spur.
NOTE: Any new wiring required, must be in accordance
with local and national codes and other applicable
regulations in order to reduce the risk of re, electric
shock, or other injuries.
NOTE: When the re is turned on for the rst time
or when it has not been used for some time, it may
release a slight, harmless odour. This odour is a normal
occurrence caused by the initial heating of the internal
heating elements or dust, and will disappear with use.

TROUBLE SHOOTING
Safety Cut-Out device:
To ensure against the potential hazard caused by
blockage of the air outlet, this unit is equipped with
an automatic overheat safety cut-out device. When
the device is activated the heater will not operate. If
this occurs, the unit can be reset using the following
procedure.
1. Turn the re o by depressing the on/o switch on
the unit.
2. Unplug the power cord form the electrical mains
supply socket and leave it disconnected for at
least 15 minutes.
3. Ensure that the air vents are free from obstruction.
4. Plug the power cord back into the mains socket.
5. Turn the re back on.
6. If the re fails to operate, check the fuse in the
plug.
7. If the fuse in the plug is OK and the re is still not
functioning, contact a qualied person.

CLEANING AND CARE
WARNING! Always disconnect from the mains supply
before cleaning the wall re.
CAUTION! Allow the product to completely cool before
handling or cleaning it.
• Never use abrasive cleaners and chemical agents
as damage may occur to the nish.
• For general cleaning use a soft clean duster.
• The glass viewing screen should be cleaned
carefully with a soft cloth.
• Do not allow water or other liquids to run into the
interior of the product, as this could cause a re
and/or electrical hazard.
• We also recommend the periodic cleaning of this
appliance by lightly running a vacuum cleaner
nozzle over the guards to remove any dust or dirt
that may have accumulated inside or on the unit.
Maintenance
• Before any maintenance of the exterior of the
replace, disconnect the unit form the power
supply and leave until cool.
• Remote control battery replacement: this remote
control uses 2x1.5V AAA battery. Ensure the
batteries are installed correctly in the remote
control.
• This product does not use a standard bulb for its
ame eect. The appliance uses an electronically
controlled LED system to create the ame eect
therefore no parts need to be replaced. There
are no user-serviceable parts on this appliance.
Under no circumstances should the appliance
be serviced by anyone other than a qualied
electrician.
