WIRING SAFETY FOR UK USE ONLY
IMPORTANT
As the colours in the mains lead of this appliance
may not correspond with the coloured markings
identifying the terminals in your plug, please
proceed as follows:
The wires in the mains lead are labelled in
accordance with the following code:
Blue neutral [N] Brown live [L]
Green/Yellow [EARTH]
Plug Fitting Details (Where Applicable). The
wire labelled blue is the neutral and must be
connected to the terminal marked [N].
The wire labelled brown is the live wire and must
be connected to the terminal marked [L].
The wire labelled green/yellow must be
connected to the terminal marked with the letter
[E].
On no account must either the brown or the blue
wire be connected to the [EARTH] terminal.
Always ensure that the cord grip is fastened
correctly.
The plug must be tted with a fuse of the same
rating already tted and conforming to BS 1362
and be ASTA approved.
If in doubt consult a qualied electrician who will
be pleased to do this for you.
Non-Rewireable Mains Plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-
rewireable plug tted to the mains lead and
should the fuse need replacing, you must use an
ASTA approved one (conforming to BS 1362 of
the same rating).
If in doubt, consult a qualied electrician who will
be pleased to do this for you.
If you need to remove the plug - disconnect it
from the mains - then cut it o of the mains lead
and immediately dispose of it in a safe manner.

BEFORE YOUR FIRST USE:
The unit is supplied in a single package carton. Carefully unpack the product using the following
procedure:
1. Ensure that the product is in the correct position with the carton wording legible.
2. Remove the straps and sleeve.
3. Carefully lift the replace out of the box.
4. Remove the protective packaging and bag from the suite.
5. Carefully remove the protective lm covering the re.
6. Your appliance is now ready for normal use.
Dispose of the packaging in a responsible manner.

HANDLING
Before continuing any further with the
installation of this re please read the following:
Two people should be sucient to lift the
re.
When lifting always keep your back
straight. Bend your legs and not your
back.
Avoid twisting at the waist. It is better to
reposition your feet.
Avoid upper body / top heavy bending.
Always bend from the knees rather
than the waist. Do not lean forward or
sideways whilst handling the re.
Always grip with the palm of your hand.
Do not use the tips of ngers for support.
Always keep the product as close to the
body as possible to prevent unnecessary
and undue strain on the body.
Use gloves to provide additional grip.
Always use assistance if required.
USING YOUR APPLIANCE:
The appliance is operated through the switches
and temperature control dial located inside the
main door of the re.
Turning the Unit On and Off:
When turning the unit on, make sure the
ON/OFF switch, located on the right side
panel, is in the OFF position. Plug the
power cord into a 220~240 grounded
outlet.
CAUTION! Make sure the outlet is in good
condition and that the plug is not loose. NEVER
exceed the maximum amperage for the circuit.
DO NOT plug other appliances into the same
circuit.
Flick the On/O switch on the unit’s main
body to the ‘On’ position (represented by
the symbol ‘I’) to turn it on. The LED ame
eect will come on to indicate the unit is in
operation.
Flick this switch to the ‘O’ position
(represented by the symbol ‘O’) while the
unit is in operation to turn it o. The LED
ame eect will turn o to indicate the unit
has been turned o.
Selecting the Heat Setting:
This unit is equipped with a choice of
1000W or 2000W heat settings.
Flick the corresponding switch on the
unit’s main body to the ‘On’ position to
select each of the two heat settings. Flick
the ‘I’ switch to the On position for the
Low heat setting, or the ‘II’ switch for the
High heat setting.
NOTE: Always ensure the ‘I’ switch is set to
the ‘On’ position before turning on the ‘II’ heat
switch.
Flick either or both of these switches
to the ‘O’ position when the unit is in
operation to turn the heating function o.
NOTE: The LED ame eect operates
independently from the heating function, and
will stay on even after the heat switches have
been set to the ‘O’ position.

Selecting the Temperature:
Once the desired heat setting has been
activated, the actual heating temperature
within the selected range can be adjusted
using the unit’s thermostat dial.
Rotate the thermostat dial clockwise (to
the right) to increase the temperature, or
counter-clockwise (to the left) to decrease
it.
NOTE: The thermostat dial must be rotated
clockwise before heat begins emitting from the
unit. There will be a clicking sound to indicate
the heating function has been activated. The
same clicking sound will indicate the heating
function has been turned o when the dial is
rotated counter-clockwise.
NOTE: Once the desired ambient temperature
is reached, the heater will automatically stop
heating. Whenever the ambient temperature
drops more than 2°C below the desired
temperature, the heater will resume operation.
Safety Cut-Out:
This appliance is tted with a safety cut-
o device, which will operate if the re
overheats (e.g. due to blocked air vents).
For safety reasons, the re will NOT
automatically reset.
To reset the appliance, disconnect the
appliance from the mains supply for at
least 15 minutes. Reconnect to the mains
supply and switch on the appliance.
If the re fails to operate, check the fuse in
the plug. If the fuse in the plug is OK and
the re is still not functioning, contact a
qualied service person.
CAUTION! Do not touch the re as it will be
hot. Set the heater switches to OFF and leave
the re to cool down fully. Once completely
cool, reconnect the heater and switch it on.
Do not open this product. There are no user-
serviceable parts inside.
CHECK THAT YOU HAVE NOTED ALL THE
FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS:

accessible and located adjacent to, but
not above or behind the re.
Always disconnect the re from the
electrical supply before carrying out
cleaning or maintenance.

Always ensure the product is assembled
in an area that is free from dust, grease or
liquids.
Always ensure that the correct tools are
used to assemble/install this product.
Always make sure the re is rmly secured
in place when complete.
Don’t:
Never leave children unsupervised in a
room where the re is ON and unguarded.
Never obstruct or cover the fan outlet or
force items into the re openings.
Never install or use the re anywhere
where water is in use, i.e. bathrooms,
kitchens, shower rooms, swimming pools
etc.
Never use aerosols or steam cleaners on
or around the re.
Never route the mains supply cable under
carpet etc.
Never install the re close to curtains or
combustible materials.
Never use the re to dry clothes etc.
Never sit or stand on the re.
Never cut the o the plug and hard wire
into a xed fused spur.

NOTE: Any new wiring required, must be in
accordance with local and national codes and
other applicable regulations in order to reduce
the risk of re, electric shock, or other injuries.
NOTE: When the re is turned on for the rst
time or when it has not been used for some
time, it may release a slight, harmless odour.
This odour is a normal occurrence caused
by the initial heating of the internal heating
elements or dust, and will disappear with use.
TROUBLE SHOOTING

CLEANING AND CARE
WARNING! Always disconnect from the mains

For general cleaning use a soft clean
duster - never use harsh abrasives or
cleaners.
The glass viewing screen should be
cleaned carefully with a soft cloth.
Do not allow water or other liquids to run
into the interior of the product, as this
could cause a re and/or electrical hazard.
We also recommend the periodic cleaning
of this appliance by lightly running a
vacuum cleaner nozzle over the guards
to remove any dust or dirt that may have
accumulated inside or on the unit.
CAUTION! Do not use harsh detergents,
chemical cleaners or solvents as they may
damage the surface nish of the plastic
components.
WARNING:
DO NOT IMMERSE ANY ELECTRICAL PART
OF THE APPLIANCE IN WATER SUCH AS
MOTOR UNITS OR PLUGS.
