Controls
1. Heat Selection Switches – There are
two settings: 1500W and 3000W. Flick
either of the 2 switches to the On position
to select the 1500W setting, or ick
them both to the On position to select
the 2000W setting. The corresponding
switches will illuminate to show they have
been turned on.
Note: If neither switch is turned to the On
position, the radiator will operate on cooling fan
mode until a selection is made.
2. Adjustable Thermostat Control – Allows
you to set the temperature level from
MIN to MAX. Rotate the thermostat dial
clockwise from the MIN all the way to the
MAX position to start the heating cycle.
Once the correct temperature has been
reached, rotate this dial counter-clockwise
from the MAX to the MIN position to select
the desired temperature.
3. Power / Timer Switch – Turns the unit On
or O or activates the Timer function. Flick
this switch to the I position to turn the unit
on, to the 0 position to turn it o, or to
the Timer position to activate and set the
programmable timer.
4. 24 Hour Programmable Timer – Allows
you to set a timed heating cycle for the
unit . Flick the Power On/O / Timer
switch to the Timer position to activate the
timer function, and follow the instructions
below to set it.
Setting the Timer
1. To set the unit’s 24-hour timer, start by
activating it. To do this, ick the Power
On/O / Timer switch to the Timer
position. The timer function is located
between positions 0 and I on the switch,
and represented by a clock symbol.

2. Once the timer has been activated, rotate
the 24-hour dial so that the indicator
arrow points to the current time, as shown
in (Figure 1.) Use the small clock on the
right-hand side of the dial as a guide to
check if the current time is correct. The
timer dial will automatically begin to rotate
once the current time has been set.
Note: If an incorrect current time is set, the
timer will not operate correctly. Always ensure
the unit is set to the correct current time before
attempting to program the timer.
3. Once you have set the correct current
time, use the small pins around the
thermostat dial to nd and set your
desired time. Push the relevant pins up or
down as required to set and change alarm
start and stop times. For instance, to set
a heating cycle from 2pm to 4.45pm,
push all the pins to the down position,
other than those between the ‘14’ and
’16.45’ indicators, as shown in (Figure
2.) If the timer has been activated and
set correctly, the heater will now operate
during the selected periods and idle for
the remainder of the 24-hour cycle.
Note: Each hour section is divided into 3
segments. Each segment represents a period
of 15 minutes. For instance, the rst segment
after the ‘9’ marker represents 9.15am, the
second 9.30am, and the third 9.45am. Make
sure to bear this in mind when setting and
programming the timer.
Note: It is normal when the heaters are turned
on for the rst time or when they are turned on
after having not been used for a long period
of time the heaters may emit some smell and
fumes. This will disappear when the heater has
been on a short while.
USING THE HEATER
1. Choose a suitable location for the heater,
and take the safety instructions in to
account.
2. Insert the heater’s plug into a suitable
socket.
3. Turn the thermostat control in a clockwise
direction to the maximum setting.
4. For the rst heat setting, press one
1500W switch.
5. For the second heat setting, press both
1500W switches at the same time.
6. When a heat setting is selected, the
indicator light will turn on.
7. When the desired temperature is reached,
slowly turn the thermostat control anti-
clockwise until you hear the thermostat
click and the light on the heat control
turns o.
8. The heater will switch on and o
automatically to maintain your chosen
temperature.
Note: When the unit is turned on, the fan will
operate continuously and cannot be switched
o independently.
(Figure 2.)
