IMPORTANT
As the colours in the
mains lead of this
appliance may not
correspond with the
coloured markings
identifying the terminals
in your plug, please
proceed as follows:
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in
accordance with the following code:
Blue neutral [N] Brown live [L]
Green/Yellow [EARTH]
Plug Fitting Details (Where Applicable).
The wire coloured blue is the neutral and must
be connected to the terminal marked [N] or
coloured black.
The wire coloured brown is the live wire and
must be connected to the terminal marked [L] or
coloured red.
The wire coloured green/yellow must be
connected to the terminal marked with the letter
[E] or marked
.
On no account must either the brown or the blue
wire be connected to the [EARTH] terminal
.
Always ensure that the cord grip is fastened
correctly.
The plug must be tted with a fuse of the same
rating already tted and conforming to BS 1362
and be ASTA approved.
If in doubt consult a qualied electrician who will
be pleased to do this for you.
Non-Rewireable Mains Plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-
rewireable plug tted to the mains lead and
should the fuse need replacing, you must use an
ASTA approved one (conforming to BS 1362 of
the same rating).
If in doubt, consult a qualied electrician who will
be pleased to do this for you.
If you need to remove the plug - disconnect it
from the mains - and then cut it o the mains
lead and immediately dispose of its safely. Never
attempt to reuse the plug or insert it into a
socket outlet as there is a danger of an electric
shock.

• Always ensure that the heater
is only used when mounted on
a wall. Ensure that the heater is
not positioned close to curtains,
furniture or any combustible
materials as this could create a
re hazard.
• Allow a 50cm safe area around
the heater on the top and sides
and a 120cm safe area at the
front of the appliance.
• The heater must not be located
immediately below a mains
socket outlet.
• DO NOT cover the heater as this
may lead to a re risk.
• Do NOT obstruct any of the
openings of the heater.
• DO NOT insert any object
through any openings on the
heater.
• Check from time to time for
accumulated dust.
• DO NOT use the heater in
areas where ammable liquids
are stored or where ammable
fumes may be present.
• DO NOT operate the heater on a
timer, or leave on overnight.
• DO NOT operating the heater on
any oor or surface.
• When not being used, please
unplug the heater from the
mains socket.
• Keep the mains lead away from
the hot body of the heater and
ensure that it is not pulled tight
between the socket and the
heater.
• DO NOT use the heater in the
immediate surroundings of a
bath, a shower, a swimming
pool or similar indoor locations
and do not touch hot surfaces.
• Always unplug the heater and
allow it to cool before moving it
from one location to another.
• DO NOT attempt to dismantle
or repair any part of the heater.
This should only be done by a
qualied service agent.
• In the unlikely event the
appliance develops a fault,
stop using it immediately and
seek advice from the service
department.

BEFORE YOUR FIRST USE:
1. Remove your appliance from the packaging.
2. Plug the appliance into the mains supply.
3. Safely mount the appliance on a wall, away from curtains, furniture or any combustible
materials.
4. Your appliance is now ready for normal use.
Dispose of the packaging in a responsible manner.

INSTALLING YOUR APPLIANCE
Please maintain the stated minimum distances.
WALL MOUNTING:
1. Unscrew the screws on the side from the
top cover.
2. Install the mounting bracket to the wall,
as shown in the drawing below. Two wall
anchors (6 mm) and mounting screws are
included.
3. Make sure that the device is mounted
level.
4. Hang the heater into the mounting bracket
and screw in the lateral screws back in
again.
5. The device may only be used when
installed on a wall and in an upright
(vertical position)!
6. After connecting the plug with the power
outlet the heater is ready to be used.
It must be guaranteed that a heater
permanently connected to the power
supply can be switched o through a
disconnection mechanism (e.g. a circuit
breaker, installation switch, etc.) with a
minimum separation distance of 3 mm to
the contact.
7. Should you have diculty tting this
product please contact your local
electrician.
8. If this product is being hard wire into you
electrical supply, it is recommend that any
installation of this nature is carried out by
a fully qualied electrician.
USING YOUR APPLIANCE
The heater WL41003 is only suitable to be
used in dry rooms (in accordance with the
norm IP 20).
The frost protection convector is intended to be
used in unheated rooms in order to prevent the
freezing of water pipes, frost damages on walls,
as well as for the hibernation of plants in the
house or winter garden.
The use of bathrooms as a frost protection
device is only permitted if it is guaranteed that
the device does not come into any contact with
humidity and moisture.
The heater may only be used when installed on
a wall and only for the purposes described.
The product automatically switches on when
the temp drops below 0°C, when the product
is set to the lowest setting
The thermostat will then control the
temperature upto a maximum of 30°C
depending on the room size. (The product will
not warm up a large room to 30°C !!)

CLEANING AND CARE
• Before attempting to clean the appliance
please ensure that the appliance is
disconnected from the power supply to
ensure that there is no risk of electrical
shock.
• To clean the appliance use a damp cloth
with a small amount of mild detergent and
wipe the case of the appliance.
• Do not attempt to clean the internal
spaces.
• If the appliance shows any signs of wear
or damage disconnect immediately from
the mains supply, do NOT use it – have it
checked by a suitably qualied person.
