UUT
UUT is used to configure the transmitter under test. Push to select and
enter edit mode. The parameters that can be entered are listed below:
UUT Range (0%): Configure the UUT lower range
UUT Range (100%): Configure the UUT upper range
Tolerance Method: % Reading Use reading percent as tolerance method
% Span Use span percent as tolerance method
Unit Use Unit (nominal mA) as tolerance method
Allowable Error: Configure the acceptable error, associate
with Tolerance Method
Closed Loop: ON / OFF
Configure to fully automate the test or do the test manually. For a fully-automated
test where the program reads the UUT mA measurement and then continues, set
Closed Loop to ON. For manual operation, set Closed Loop to OFF.
Note
The mA measurement cannot be entered by the user because the
measurement is read from the EMM. This is to prevent
measurement errors.
New
New is used create a new transmitter mA program.
Push to select and name a new program.
Start: The start pressure in the test sequence.
End: The end pressure in the test sequence.
Points Up: Determines the numbers of upscale.
Points Down: Determines the numbers of downscale.
Dwell Time:
Once the pressure is within the specified tolerance, the Product starts a timer
that runs for a user-defined number of seconds (dwell time). As long as this timer
is running, the Product remains at the designated setpoint unless the max time
(see below) elapses. When the dwell time expires, the Product goes to the next
step. Typically the dwell time should be set to a value less than the max time.
