Before You Start

Note

This funcon is only supported by certain models.

Finish seng the desired acons (Linear Scan and Patrol are available) and VCA funcons (Fire

Detecon is available). See Set Linear Scan , Set Patrol Scan , and Fire and Smoke Detecon for

conguraon instrucons.

Steps

Go to

Conguraon → PTZ → Combined Path .

Select a channel.

Select a path number from the drop-down list.

Up to 4 paths are available.

Click Add, and set the

acon type, acon No. and VCA type for the added acon.

Up to 10 acons can be added to one path.

You can click ON to manually call the path and OFF to stop it.

Click Save.

What to do next

Set the combined path in park

acon (see Set Park Acon ) or scheduled task (see Set Scheduled

Tasks ).

8.12 Set Device

Posion

Before You Start

Go to

Conguraon → PTZ → Basic Sengs → PTZ OSD to enable PT Status display.

Steps

Go to the seng page: Conguraon → PTZ → Posion Sengs .

Select a PT Mode.

Manual

Use a direcon indicang device to determine the North at the device locaon, and

set the North for the device. For details, see Set Manual Compass .

Auto For the device that has built-in e-compass, the compass can automacally tell the

north direcon for the device. For details, see Set Auto Compass .

Oponal: Check Display Posion Diagram to display the posion diagram on the live view.

Set Vandal-proof alarm.

Aer enabling the funcon, the device triggers alarms once its posion changes because of

shock or vandalism.

Sensivity

The higher the value is, the easier the alarm will be triggered.
