Note

Draw three segments of the rule from near to far to cover all of the detecon area.

Check to enable Filter by Pixel. Then Draw max size and min size rectangles to lter the target

among human, vehicle, animal, and others. Only the target whose size is between the Max. Size

and Min. Size value will trigger the alarm.

You can draw the max. size and min. size rectangles according to the real target in the scene.

The recommended size is 1.2 mes of the target.

The height of the rectangle is a more important factor as it is the main dierence to tell apart

a human and an animal.

Click to copy the same sengs to other rules.

Click Save.

5.3.3 Set the Scene Auto-Switch

The device support patrol tracking for mulple important scenes. The alarm will be triggered if the

rule is broken during patrol sequence.

Steps

Go to VCA → Scene Auto-Switch to congure this funcon.

Set the scene patrol sequence.

Scene Name

Select a scene name from the drop down list.

Duraon

Set the dwell me of the scene when doing patrol tracking.

Click the up, down arrow to adjust the patrol sequence.

Click Save.

5.3.4 Set Polling Plan

Both the opcal channel and the thermal channels support the perimeter protecon. Set the

working shi for each channel.
