• Read and familiarise yourself with all operating
instructions before using your Airbuds.
• Before using your Airbuds, visually check that the unit is
intact and has not suffered any transit damage.
• Only charge the earbud base unit from a suitable USB
outlet any other power source may cause permanent
damage to the Airbuds.
• The earbuds must be fully charged before use.
• Do not operate these Airbuds after a malfunction or after
being dropped or damaged in any way.
• Never allow children to play with the Airbuds. Small parts
may be a choking hazard.
• Do not allow the USB charging cable to hang over sharp
edges or come in contact with hot surfaces.
• These Airbuds are intended for household use only and
should not be used for industrial purposes.
• Do not use these Airbuds for anything other than the
intended use.
• Do not immerse the Airbuds or the base unit in water or
any other liquids.
• Do not expose the Airbuds or base unit to moisture, rain
or humidity, they are not waterproof.

• Before cleaning, ensure the Airbuds are not connected to
the USB supply.
• Never clean the Airbuds with solvents or harsh or
abrasive cleaners.
• Do not attempt to dismantle the Airbuds or the base unit,
they do not contain any user serviceable parts.
• Whilst not in use, store the Airbuds and base unit in a
cool dry place free from extreme temperatures, humidity
or dust.

Description of Parts
About Your Airbuds
Your Airbuds automatically pair together in stereo and in turn pair with your
Wireless device. They are supplied with a Charging Case which is used to store the
Airbuds and will also charge the Airbuds whilst on the move.

Charging the Charging Case (7)
So that the Airbuds can be charged, the Charging Case (7)
must first be charged as follows:
1. Insert the C Type USB Plug (12) of the USB Cable (10)
into the USB Charging Port (9) in the base of the
Charging Case (7).
2. Insert the USB A Type Plug (11) into a suitable USB
outlet port such as a laptop or USB wall charger.
3. The Charging Case LED (8) will flash whilst the charging
case is charging.
4. Once the Charging Case (7) is fully charged, the Charging Case LED
(8) will illuminate constantly and the USB Cable (10) removed.
Charging the Airbuds
Before use, please ensure that the Airbuds internal rechargeable batteries are fully
charged as follows:
1. Lift the Charging Case Lid (6) and place the Airbuds into
the Charging Case (7) as shown right.
NB the Airbuds will automatically shut down once they are
inserted into the Charging Case (7).
2. The Airbud LEDs (5) will illuminate whilst charging, once
they are fully charged the LEDs will go out.
3. The charge level in the Airbuds will be shown in percent
on the wireless page of your Phone, Tablet or other
wireless device being used.
NB During use, if the Airbud LEDs (5) flash once every 20
seconds it is to indicate that the batteries are going flat and the
Airbuds will require charging.
Using Your Airbuds
1. Ensure the Airbuds are fully charged as described above.
2. Remove the Airbuds from the Charging Case (7), the Airbuds will automatically
power up or press the Function Buttons (2 & 3) for 3 seconds to power up the
Airbuds.
3. The LED in Right Airbud (4) will start to flash to show the Airbuds have
automatically gone into wireless pairing mode.
4. Enable the wireless mode on your Phone, Tablet or other wireless compatible
device you are using and set it to search.
5. Select ‘AVS1629’ from the search results found by your device which will now
pair automatically with both the Airbuds.
6. Enable the music player on your wireless connected device.
7. The Airbuds will automatically power off when placed into the Charging Case
(7). To manually power off, touch the Function Buttons (2 & 3) for 6 seconds.

Using the Airbud Function Buttons (2 and 3)
1. To start the music playing, tap either Airbud Function Button (2 or 3) once.
2. To stop the music playing, tap either Airbud Function Button (2 or 3) once.
3. To increase the volume level, tap the right Airbud Function Button (3) twice.
4. To decrease the volume level, tap the left Airbud Function Button (2) twice.
5. To skip to the next track, tap the right Airbud Function Button (3) three times.
6. To skip to the previous track, tap the left Airbud Function Button (2) three times.
7. To redial the last phone number, tap either Airbud Function Button (2 or 3) four
times.
Unpairing Your Device
1. On your device, unpair with ‘AVS1629’
2. Replacing both the Airbuds into the Charging Case (7) will also enable them to
unpair with your wireless device*.
*NB The Airbuds will give priority to the last connected wireless device.
ANC Mode (Automatic Noise Cancelling) and Transparency Mode
About Auto Noise Cancelling
The Auto Noise Cancelling mode will electronically reduce the background noise
level, giving the user a better audio experience.
The ANC mode can be used independently from music so the Airbuds can be used
to eliminate background noise whilst wearing the Airbuds.
About Transparency Mode
To hear ambient sounds without removing the Airbuds, enable Transparency
Mode. Transparency Mode is used whilst not playing music.
Using ANC and Transparency Mode
The ANC and Transparency modes are enabled in the following order as below:
• Touch either Airbud Function Button (2 or 3) for two seconds, a beep will be
heard and Transparency mode will be enabled.
• Touch either Airbud Function Button (2 or 3) for two seconds, two beeps will be
heard and ANC mode will be enabled.
• Touch either Airbud Function Button (2 or 3) for two seconds, three beeps will
be heard and ANC mode is now off – the Airbuds are now in normal mode - No
ANC or Transparency mode enabled.
Using Just One Airbud
To use one Airbud, place the unused Airbud into the Charging Case (7), the Airbud
being used will automatically switch to mono audio and all phone functions will be
available.
Place both Airbuds into the Charging Case (7) to restore the use of both Airbuds.

Enabling Voice Assistant (Siri/Google Assist)
Touch either Airbud Function Button (2 or 3) for four seconds to enable the voice
assistant. Two beeps will be heard before the Voice Assistant is enabled.
Automatic Connection and Reconnection
if the Airbuds move ten metres out of range of the wireless device they will
automatically disconnect and then reconnect within ten metres of range.
Automatic Shutdown whilst Charging
The Airbuds will automatically shut down once they are placed into the Charging
Case (7) for recharging.
Smartsleep
The Airbuds will automatically shut down 5 minutes after they have been
disconnected (unpaired) from the wireless device
Handling Telephone Calls
Answering a Call
1. A call coming in will mute (cut) the music you are listening to.
2. Briefly tap either Airbud Function Button (2 or 3) to answer the call.
3. At the end of the telephone call, briefly press the either Airbud Function
Button (2 or 3) to end the call and return to the music originally being played.
NB The callers voice will be heard through the Airbuds and your voice will be
picked up by the built in Microphone(s).
Rejecting a Call
1. A call coming in will mute (cut) the music you are listening to.
2. Press the either Airbud Function Button (2 or 3) for 1.5 seconds to reject the
call.
3. The Airbuds will then return to the music being played.
Redialling the last number
To redial the last phone number, tap either Airbud Function Button (2 or 3) four
times.
Care and Maintenance of Your Airbuds
1. Always disconnect the Charging Case from the USB charging supply before
cleaning.
2. Clean the Airbuds and Charging Case with a clean damp cloth. Never clean with
harsh or abrasive cleaners.
3. Do not submerge the Airbuds or the Charging Case in water or any other liquids.
