instructions before using this Speaker.
• Before plugging your unit into the USB supply, visually
check that the unit is intact and has not suffered any
transit damage.

corresponds with that of the local network before
connecting the appliance to the USB power supply.
• Always use this appliance on a solid, level, non-flammable
surface.
• Ensure that there is clearance of at least 100mm (4
Inches) minimum around the Speaker for sufficient
ventilation.
• Ensure that the ventilation openings are not covered with
items, such as newspapers, table-cloths, curtains, etc.
• No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should
be placed on the Speaker.
• Do not position the Speaker close to sources of heat such
as radiators, heaters, other electronic equipment, etc.
• The Speaker shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing
and that no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall

be placed on the apparatus.
• Do not immerse the Speaker or its supply in water or any
other liquids.
• Do not leave the Speaker unattended during use.
• Do not leave the Speaker unattended whilst connected to
the USB supply.
• Close supervision is required when using this Speaker
near children.
• Never leave this Speaker within reach of children.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play
with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall

• Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless

Speaker has been used, before it is cleaned and whilst

Charging Your Boom Beat Pro Boombox Speaker
Before using your Speaker ensure that it is fully charged as follows:
1. Insert the C-Type USB Plug (14) of the USB Cable (13) into the USB Charging Port
(11) on the rear connection panel.
2. Insert the A-Type USB Plug (12) into a suitable USB outlet such as a laptop, PC or
USB Wall Charger.
3. Whilst the speaker is on charge, the Charging/Wireless Indicator (8) will glow red,
once the internal battery is fully charged the Charging/Wireless Indicator (8) will go
out.
NB Charging time will take approximately 3-4 hours – remove the charging cable
once the speaker is fully charged.
Using Your Boom Beat Pro Boombox Speaker
Using the Wireless Mode
1. Press and hold the Power ON/OFF button (5) for two seconds to power up
the speaker.
2. The Charging/Wireless Indicator (8) on the rear connection
panel will quickly flash Blue showing the speaker has powered up
and is ready to pair. The light effects around the speakers and on
the sides will also illuminate.
3. Enable the wireless mode on your Phone, Tablet or other
wireless compatible device and set it to search.
4. Select ‘AVS1622’ from the search results found by your device which will now
pair with the speaker.
5. Once the two are paired successfully, the Charging/Wireless
Indicator (8) will flash slowly and the speaker will chime.
NB The speaker will reconnect automatically after power up if your device has
previously paired therefore the pairing process will not be needed.
Playing Music after Pairing
1. Press the Play/Pause button (2) to start playing music, press the button again
to pause playing music.
2. Briefly press the Volume Up/Next Track button (6) to increase the volume
level.*
3. Briefly press the Volume Down/Previous Track button (1) to lower the
volume level.
4. Press and hold the Volume Up/Next Track button (6) for one second to skip
to the next music track.
5. Press and hold the Volume Down/Previous Track button (1) for one second
to skip back to the previous music track.

Using the AUX Input (9)
The AUX Input allows a direct wired connection of an external audio device (such
as a Laptop, PC, music player, etc.) via a 3.5mm jack socket input on the Rear
Connection Panel.
1. Press and hold the ON/OFF button (5) for two seconds to power up the
speaker.
2. Insert the AUX Cable (15) into the AUX Input (9) on the Rear Connection Panel
under the Silicone Plug.
3. The speaker will automatically detect the cable and switch to AUX mode.
4. Insert the other end of the lead into the device you are playing from.

NB The supplied lead may not be compatible with the external audio device being
used and an alternative lead may be necessary.
Playing Music from a Micro SD/TF Card
1. Press and hold the ON/OFF button (5) for two seconds to power up the
speaker.
2. Insert a Micro SD/TF card (pre-loaded with audio tracks – Mp3, WAV, files etc.)
into the Micro SD Player (7) on the Rear Connection Panel under the Silicone
Plug.
3. The tracks on the card will begin to play automatically.
4. Press the Play/Pause button (2) to stop playing music, press the button again
to start playing music.
5. Briefly press the Volume Up/Next Track button (6) to increase the volume
level.*
6. Briefly press the Volume Down/Previous Track button (1) to lower the
volume level.
7. Press and hold the Volume Up/Next Track button (6) for one second to skip
to the next music track.
8. Press and hold the Volume Down/Previous Track button (1) for one second
to skip back to the previous music track.
NB the Micro SD player supports cards up to 32GB capacity max.

Playing Music from a USB Memory Stick
1. Press and hold the ON/OFF button (5) for two seconds to power up the
speaker.
2. Insert a USB Memory Stick (pre-loaded with audio tracks – Mp3, WAV, files etc.)
into the USB Memory Stick Player (10) on the Rear Connection Panel under the
Silicone Plug.
3. The tracks on the memory stick will begin to play automatically.
4. Press the Play/Pause button (2) to stop playing music, press the button again
to start playing music.
5. Briefly press the Volume Up/Next Track button (6) to increase the volume
level.*
6. Briefly press the Volume Down/Previous Track button (1) to lower the
volume level.
7. Press and hold the Volume Up/Next Track button (6) for one second to skip
to the next music track.
8. Press and hold the Volume Down/Previous Track button (1) for one second
to skip back to the previous music track.
NB the USB Memory Stick Player supports sticks up to 32GB capacity max.
*Two high pitched beeps will be heard warning when the maximum volume setting
has been reached.
TWS Wireless Connection
Two Boom Beat Pro Boombox Speakers can be linked together using Wireless to
create two stereo speakers, this is known as TWS pairing as follows:
1. Press and hold the ON/OFF button (5) for two seconds on one speaker only
to power it up.
2. The Charging/Wireless Indicator (8) will quickly flash Blue showing the speaker
has powered up and is ready to pair.
3. Enable the wireless mode on your Phone, Tablet or other wireless compatible
device and allow it to pair with the first speaker.
4. Power up the second speaker.
5. Press the ON/OFF button (5) on both speakers briefly twice to allow the two
speakers to link together in TWS mode.
6. After the connection is successful, one of the speakers becomes the left channel
and the main speaker. The other speaker is the right channel.
Please note that to obtain TWS mode, two Boom Beat Pro Boombox Wireless
Speakers will be required.

Disconnecting TWS Mode
Press and hold the Play/Pause button (2) for five seconds to cancel the TWS
mode.
Resetting the Speaker
Press and hold the Play/Pause button (2) for five seconds to clear the Wireless
connection and reset the speaker.
Light Effects
Briefly press the Light Effects button (4) to change the light effects mode.
EQ Effects
Briefly press the EQ Effects button (3) to change the audio EQ setting.
NB press this button for two seconds to manually select the input i.e. Wireless,
Micro SD Player, USB Player or Aux Input.
Care and Use of Your Speaker
• Always disconnect the Speaker from the USB charging supply before cleaning.
• Clean outside of the Speaker with a clean damp cloth. Never clean with harsh or
abrasive cleaners.
• Do not submerge the Speaker in water or any other liquids.
