Amplifier VOLUMEand MUTE
controls
With your TV's remote control, you can adjust or
mute the sound volume of your amplifier. First, set
the MODE SELECT switch on the remote control to
W.
• ?h _-_ adjust the volume level.
• (_ turns off the sound.
Note:
• To use this function:
- Set Speaker Preference to Amplifier _n the REGZA-
LINK Setup menu.
- Confirm that a connected REGZA-LINK device _such as
DVD player, etc) is selected for the Amplifier input
source.
• You can also use this function when the amplifier is
connected to the TV's DIGITAL AUDIO OUT terminal
(not HDMI connection). In this case select a digital audio
input mode on the amplifier.
• These functions depend on the device connected.
OtherREGZA-LINK® functions
When the Enable REGZA-LINK and each item in the
REGZA-LINK Setup menu are set to On, the
following functions will be enabled.
Item Descri ption
TV Auto If a REGZA-LINK device is turned on, the
Power On TV turns on automatically.
If the TV is turned off, the TV will send a
Auto Standby message to turn off all of the REGZA-
LINK devices connected to the TV.
If Amplifier Control is set to On, you can
Amplifier adjust the sound volume or turn off the
Control
sound using the remote control.
Speaker
Preference
From this item, you can set your audio
output preference to the TV speakers or
the amplifier. When this item is set to
Amplifier, the remote control can be used
to adjust or mute the volume of the audio.
This item will be grayed out unless a
REGZA-LINK compatible audio receiver
is connected and set to "13/speakers
automatically.
Note: When you turn on the amplifier, change its input
source, or adjust the sound volume the sound will be
output from _he amplifier's speakers even if TV Speakers
has been selected. Turn the TV off and on again to output
tt_e sound from the TV speakers.
To set the REGZA-LINK Setup:
1 From the PREFERENCES menu, highlight
REGZA-LINK Setup and press _.
2 Press • or • to highlight Enable REGZA-LINK
3 Press < or _" to select On.

Note: If you set Enable REGZA-LINK to Off, the other
items under REGZA-LINK Setup will be grayed out.
Press • or • to highlight the REGZA-LINK setup
item you want to use, and press < or I_ to select
On or desired mode.
• TV Auto Power: On/Off
• Auto Standby: On/Off
• Amplifier Control: On/Off
• Speaker Preference: TV Speakers/Amplifier
REGZA-LINK® PC Link
This feature automatically sets suitable widescreen
formats and picture preferences when the TV is
connected to a REGZA-LINK PC.
Note: This feature depends on the type of equipment
connected.
