Adjustingthe picture
Selecting the picture mode
You can select your desired picture settings from the
following modes, as described below.
Mode Picture Quality
Automatically adjusts picture settings
AutoView rM based on ambient light conditions and
input signal content
Sports Bright and dynamic picture
Standard Standard picture settings
Movie Lower contrast for darkened room
Designed for playing a video game
requiring split-second timing between
Game the on-screen display and input from
the controller
PC Designed for viewing of PC tables and
documents
Note:
• Because the AutoView mode automatically adjusts
picture settings based on ambient light conditions and
Input signal content some menus will be grayed out
when it is selected.
• PC mode is available for HDMI and PC _nputs only (not
displayed for other input sources)
• Game mode cannot be turned on when theANT/CABLE
_nput is selected.

From the PICTURE menu, highlight Picture
Mode.
Press • or • to select the picture mode you prefer
and press @.
Note: The picture mode you select affects the current
input only. You can select a different oicture mode for
each input.
Adjustingthe picturequality
The picture quality you adjusted under a certain
picture mode is saved to the picture mode of same
name.

Sharpness softer sharper
Backlight
This feature adjusts the brightness of the entire screen. When
in video mode and no s gnal is inout, this will automatically be
set to O. (Settings are stored ir memory.)
Note: Some menus cannot be adjusted when the picture
mode is set to AutoView.
To adjust the picture quality:
1 From the PICTURE menu, highlight picture
quality you want to adjust (Backlight, Contrast,
Brightness, Color, Tint, or Sharpness).
2 Ones you select the desire item, press • or • to
adjust the setting, as described in the table above
and then press _.
Note: The oicture quality you adjusted affects the current
input only. You can adjust the picture quality for each input
and source for photo viewing.
To revert to the factory defaults:
1 Select the picture mode you want to reset.
2 From the PICTURE menu, highlight Reset and
press _.
3 A confirmation message wild appear. Press • or •
to select Yes, and then press _.
