[OVEN R,A<
The oven has two racks (three racks if
convection). All racks are designed with a
lock-stop edge.
TO REMOVE OVEN RACKS:
Pull rack straight out until it stops at the
lock-stop position; lift up on the front of the
rack and pull out.
TO REPLACE OVEN RACKS:
Placerack on the rack support in the oven;
tilt the front end up siighdy;slide rack back
until it dears the lock-stop position; lower
front and slide back into the oven.

Three-rack Convection
Baking (Racks 1,3 and 5)
RACK 5:
Use for toasting bread or broiling very
thin foods.
RACK 4:
Use for two-rack baking and for broiling.
RACK 3:
Use for most baked goods on a cookie
sheet or jelly roll pan, layer cakes, fruit
pies, or frozen convenience foods, and
for broiling.
RACK 2:
Usefor roasting smallcuts of meat, casse-
roles, baking loavesof bread, bun& cakes
or custard pies, and two-rack baking.
RACK l :
Use for roasting large cuts of meat and
poultry, frozen pies, dessert soufflesor
angelfood cake, and two-rack baking.
HULT[PLE RACK COOKING:
Two racK: Use rack positions 2 and 4,
or [ and 4.
Three racK: (convection functions only,
select models) Use rack positions 1,3
and 5. See illustration.

2. Grasp top center of the haft tad<. Align
the side arm support between the top
fourth and fifth oven rack guides. Insert
the two tabson the bad<frame of the haft
rack into the slots on the upper [eft rear
of the oven wail
3. Pushfirmly on the top surfaceof the haft
rack until the tabsshe into the slots and
the haft rack side arm support rests on
the fourth oven rack guide.
Check for proper installation by placing
your hand on the top surface of the haft
rack and pressing down firmly.
TO REHOVE FROH THE OVEN:
When the oven is
coo[, grasp the top
cenmr of the halfrack
and pullupward until
the back tabs on the
rack slide out of the
oven back slots.

o Do not use cookware that extends
beyond edge of rack.
° For best results, allow two inches
between the pan placed on the rack
and the oven side wall.
When opening the oven door, allow
steam and hot air to escapebefore
reaching into the oven to remove
food.
o Use caution when removing items
from the haft rack to avoid burns.
o Carefully remove items from the
lower rack to avoid disturbing the
haft tad<.

When the oven is in use, the vent and sur-
rounding areabecome hot enoughto cause
burns. NEVERblock the vent opening.
OVEN VENT LOCATION

The coding fan wiil automatically turn on
during cleaning, broiling and some baking
operations. It is used to keep internal parts
on the contrd panel cool The fan wii[
automaqcaiiy turn off when parts have
coded. The fan may continue to operate
after the oven has been turned off. This is
normal.
