Closed caption problems
• If theprogramor videoyou selectedis not closed-
captioned,nocaptionswill display.
• If text is not available,a blackrectanglemayappear.
If this happens,turn off theclosedcaptionfeature(_-_--_
page40).
• Aclosed-captionsignalmaynotdisplaycorrectlyin the
followingsituations:a) whena videotapehasbeen
dubbed;b) whenthe signalreceptionis weak;orc)
whenthe signalreceptionis nonstandard(_-_-_page40).
Rating blocking (V-Chip) problems
• If you forgetyour PiN code:While the PiN code entering
screen is displayed, press _ four times within 5
seconds. The PIN code you previously stored will be
cleared (_-_--_page 43).
• The V-Chip feature is available for the U.S. V-Chip
system only (_-_-_page 44).
No REGZA-LINKoperation
• TheREGZA-LINKfeatureis availablefor Toshiba
REGZA-LINKcompatibledevices.
• Makesurethe HDMIcableswith the HDMILogo
(IF.II=-_rrll|) areused.
• WhentheconnectedREGZA-LINKdevicedoesnot work
correctlyafteryou havechangedsettingsof thedevice,
turn off yourTVand unplugthe powercord,thenplug
andturn on again.
• If severaldevicesareconnected,REGZA-LINKfeature
maynotoperateproperly.
• Readtheinstructionmanualfurnishedwiththe
connectedREGZA-LINKdevice.
HDMI problems
For HDMI cables
• Make sure the HDMI cables with the HDMI Logo
(!,41_1['1_|) are used (_-_--_page 12).
For Deep Color
• You should needto use High Speed HDMI cable to work
properly. Normal HDMI cable or DVI cable may not work
with this option (_-_ page 15).
For Legacy HDMI source
• Some of legacy HDMI sources may not work properly
with latest HDMI TV products, due to new standard
adoption. Pleasetry to set Off the HDMI settings (Deep
Oolor, Lip Sync, RGB Range, INSTAPORTrM)(_-_ page
51). Your legacy HDMI source should operate properly
with this TV products.
Media Player problems
• Make sure that devices are connected correctly.
• If you connect a USBdevice with separate cable or
through USBhub, the TV does not recognize the USB
device.
