Important information on
cleaning and care
Risk of injury caused by hot sur-
faces.
The steam oven gets hot during op-
eration. You could burn yourself on
the heater elements, oven compart-
ment, side runners or accessories.
Allow the heater elements, oven
compartment, side runners and the
accessories to cool before manual
cleaning.
Risk of injury due to electric
shock.
The steam from a steam cleaning ap-
pliance could reach live electrical
components and cause a short cir-
cuit.
Do not use a steam cleaner to clean
the steam oven.
Surfaces can discolour or alter if un-
suitable cleaning agents are used.
The front of the steam oven is partic-
ularly susceptible to damage from
oven cleaners and descaling agents.
All surfaces are susceptible to
scratching. Scratches on glass can in
some circumstances lead to break-
age.
Remove all cleaning agent residues
immediately.
Stubborn soiling could damage the
steam oven in certain circumstances.
Once the oven has cooled, clean the
oven compartment, the inside of the
door and the door seal. Waiting too
long can make cleaning unnecessar-
ily difficult and in some cases im-
possible.
Do not use commercial cleaning
agents. Only use agents designed for
domestic use.
Do not use cleaning agents or wash-
ing-up liquids containing aliphatic
hydrocarbons as these could cause
the seals to swell.
The steam oven and accessories
should be cleaned and dried thor-
oughly after each use.
Leave the appliance door open until
the oven compartment is completely
dry.
If the steam oven is not going to be
used for a longer period of time, it
should be thoroughly cleaned and
dried beforehand to prevent the build-
up of odours and so on. Leave the
door open afterwards.
