Add Arlo devices to the Apple Home app
For the best experience, add your Arlo devices to your Arlo account before you add them to
the Apple Home app. When you add your SmartHub (model VMB5000) to the Apple Home app,
all Arlo devices that are paired to the SmartHub are available in the Home app.
There are two dierent ways to add your Arlo SmartHub to the Home app, depending on
whether your SmartHub has a HomeKit sticker.
Add a SmartHub with a HomeKit sticker to the Home app
1. Locate the HomeKit setup code.
The code is on a sticker located on the back or the bottom of your Arlo SmartHub.
2. Open the Apple Home app.
3. Tap + at the top of the page on the Home tab and then tap Add Accessory.
