Three tether anchorages are installed on
the rear shelf behind the rear seat head
restraint. Open the cover flap to use each
anchorage.

CAUTION
. When attaching the child re-
straint system using the top
tether, remove the head restraint.
. Store the removed head restraint
in the trunk. Do not place the
head restraint in the passenger
compartment to prevent it from
being thrown around in the pas-
senger compartment in a sudden
stop or a sharp turn.
1. Remove the head restraint of the rear
seating position where the child restraint
system is to be installed. For details, refer
to “Head Restraint Adjustment” �P37.
2. Open the cover and attach the top
tether hook to the appropriate upper
anchorage.
3. Tighten the top tether securely.

tion of your child restraint system. For
