General problems with the washer-dryer
Problem Cause and remedy
The washer-dryer is not
steady during a spin
cycle.
The machine feet are not level.
Level the washer-dryer and secure the feet.
Unusual pumping
noises.
This is not a fault. These slurping noises occur at
the end of the pump sequence as a normal part of
operation.
Spinning sounds during
the drying process.
This is not a fault. The machine will spin, even dur-
ing a drying programme (thermospin).
The laundry has not
been spun properly and
the laundry is still wet.
The machine detected an imbalance during the final
spin cycle and reduced the spin speed automatically.
Include both large and small items in the load as
this will give better distribution during spinning.
Large amounts of deter-
gent residue remain in
the detergent drawer.
The water flow pressure is too low.
Clean the filters in the water inlet.
Select Water plus.
Powder detergent used in conjunction with water
softeners tends to become sticky.
Clean the detergent drawer and, in the future, add
washing powder in the compartment first, and
then add the water softener.
There is water in the
fabric conditioner com-
partment next to the
capsule.
CapDosing was not activated or an empty capsule
was not removed at the end of the last wash pro-
gramme.
Make sure that you remember to activate CapDos-
ing the next time you insert a capsule.
Remove and dispose of the empty capsule at the
end of each programme.
There is a blockage in the small pipe in the detergent
drawer onto which the capsule is placed.
Clean the small pipe.
