The setting is only visible if
Miele@home is set up.
The WiFi function is deactivated and
the WiFi connection will be reset to
the factory default.
The network configuration should be re-
set whenever a washer-dryer is being
disposed of or sold, or if a used
washer-dryer is being put into opera-
tion. This is the only way to ensure that
all personal data has been removed and
the previous owner will no longer be
able to access the washer-dryer.
A new connection setup has to be car-
ried out in order to use Miele@home
again.
Remote control
The Remote control setting is only vis-
ible if the Miele@home setting is set up
and activated.
If the Miele App has been installed on
your mobile device, you can check the
status of your washer-dryer from any-
where and start it remotely.
You can also operate your washer-
dryer remotely with the MobileStart
programme.
You can switch off the Remote control
setting if you do not want to operate the
washer-dryer with your mobile device.
If Remote control is not switched on, the
app can still be used to cancel the pro-
gramme.
Use the “Delay start”sensor to set a
time by which you want to start the
washer-dryer and start the delay start
(see “Delay start/SmartStart”).
The washer-dryer will then start within
the specified timeframe when it receives
your signal.
If it has not received a start signal by
the latest start time set, the washer-
dryer will start automatically.
Remote control is switched off in the
factory default setting.
SmartGrid
The SmartGrid setting is only visible if
the Miele@home setting is set up and
activated.
This function can be used for starting
your washer-dryer automatically at a
time when the energy tariff of your en-
ergy supplier is more economical.
Activating SmartGrid gives the Delay
start button a new function.
Set the SmartStart by using the “Delay
start”sensor (see “Delay start/
SmartStart”).
The washer-dryer will then start within
the timeframe specified when it receives
a signal from the energy supplier.
If a signal has not been received from
the energy supplier by the latest start
time set, the washer-dryer will start
automatically.
The SmartGridfunction is switched off in
the factory default setting.
