Oven use
The following table details the Soften/Melt programs, quantities, and instructions.

Melt Butter

Remove the wrapping, and then cut the butter
in half vertically. Place the butter in a dish and
cover with wax paper. Stir well after nishing
and let stand for 1-2 minutes.

Chocolate
1 cup chips or
1 square
Place the chocolate chips or squares in a
microwave-safe container. When the oven
beeps, stir the chocolate, and then restart the
oven. Stir and let stand for 1 minute.

Soften Butter
1 stick
(¼ lbs.)
Remove the wrapping, and then and cut butter
in half vertically.
Place butter in dish, cover with wax paper.

Soften Cream
Cheese
1 Package
(8-oz.)
Unwrap the cream cheese, and then place
in a microwave-safe container. Cut in half
vertically. Let stand for 2 minutes.
Using the soften/melt features
The Soften/Melt features has 4 pre-programmed cooking times. You do not need
to set either the cooking times or the power level. You can select the food servings
by pressing the button.
To begin, place the food in the center of the turntable and close the door.

1. Select the type of food that you are
cooking by pressing the Soften/Melt
button one or more times.
(Refer to the table.)

2. Press the Start button.
Result: Cooking starts. When it has
nished:
1) The oven beeps 4 times.
2) The end reminder signal
will beep once every
minute until you open the
microwave’s door.
3) The current time is
displayed again.
IMPORTANT
To use the Soft/Melt setting, you must select the serving size by pressing the
appropriate Number buttons before you press the Start button. See the table
below for details.
