Selecting additional settings

By touching the orsensor, you
can now alter the brightness of the
display:
1: Dimmest setting
2: Medium setting
3: Brightest setting.
Touch the OK sensor to confirm your
selection.
The selected setting will be adopted
and thesymbol will flash.
Touch the settings sensor to leave the
settings mode.
Otherwise the appliance will exit the
settings mode automatically after
approximately one minute.
Sabbath mode
The appliance has a Sabbath mode for
the purposes of religious observance.
The following are turned off:
– the interior lighting when the door is
opened,
– all acoustic and optical signals,
– the temperature display,
– automatic SuperCool and
SuperFreeze (if previously turned on),
– the ice cube maker (if previously
turned on).
The following can be selected:
– the settings button for turning off
Sabbath mode
– and the on/off button.
The Sabbath mode function will turn
itself off automatically after approx. 120
hours.
Ensure that the appliance doors are
properly closed, as visual and audible
alarms are switched off.
Risk of food poisoning!
Any interruption to the power supply
during this time will not be shown on
the display and the appliance will
then restart in Sabbath mode. When
Sabbath mode is ended, the power
outage will not be indicated on the
display.
If there is an interruption to the
power supply during Sabbath mode,
check the quality of the food. Do not
consume any defrosted food.
