LG SmartT h inQ Smart Diagnosis™

For appliances with the or logo
U se the Smart D iagnosis feature in the LG
SmartThinQ application for help diagnosing issues
with the appliance without the assistance of the LG
Customer Information Center.
Follow the instructions in the LG SmartThinQ
application to perform a Smart D iagnosis using your
smartphone.

Open the LG SmartThinQ application on the
smart phone.

Select the appliance and then the menu on
upper right side.

Select the Smart Diagnosis, then press Start
Smart Diagnosis button.
N O T E

If the diagnosis fails several times, use the
following instructions.

Select the A udible Diagnosis.

Follow the instructions on the smart phone.

K eep the phone in place until the tone
transmission has finished. V iew the diagnosis on
the phone.
N O T E
•
Smart D iagnosis™ cannot be activated unless
the appliance can be turned on using the
Pow er button. If the appliance cannot be turned
on, troubleshooting must be done without using
Smart D iagnosis™.
•
The Smart D iagnosis™ function depends on
the local call q uality.
•
The communication performance will improve
and you can receive better service if you use
the home phone.
•
If the Smart D iagnosis™ data transfer is poor
due to poor call q uality, you may not receive the
best Smart D iagnosis™ service.
