Display the Status Bar in Books
By default, your NOOK does not display the black
Status Bar with the battery and Wi-Fi icons, the clock,
and other notications when you are reading a book.
To display the Status Bar in books:
1. From a Home screen, tap Apps >
NOOK Settings.
2. Tap Reader.
3. Tap Always show status bar, making sure that the
checkbox is selected.
