Before placing food in the freezer
When freezing more than 2 kg of
fresh food, switch on the
SuperFreeze function for some time
before placing the food in the freezer
(see "Using SuperFreeze"). This also
helps to prevent food that is already
in the freezer from starting to defrost.
Placing food in the freezer
The following maximum loading
weig
hts must not be exceeded:
– Top freezer drawer = 5 kg
– Freezer drawer = 25 kg
– Shelf = 35 kg
Unfrozen food should not touch
fr
ozen food as this will cause frozen
food to begin to thaw.

e sure that the packaging and
containers are dry to prevent them
sticking together when frozen.
Freezing small items
Place the food in the lower freezer

awers.
Place
the food flat in the bottom of
the freezer drawer so that it freezes
through to the core as quickly as
possible.
When placing food on the shelves,
make sure that you do not block the
ventilation slits in the back wall of
the appliance. They are important for
trouble-free operation of the
appliance and normal energy
consumption.

ve the freezer drawers.
Place the food flat on the shelves so
that it fr
eezes through to the core as
quickly as possible.
After the initial freezing process:
Place the frozen food in the freezer
drawer and push it back in.
Freezing large items
If you wish to freeze large items such as
a turk
ey or game, the shelves between
the drawers can be removed. To do
this:

carefully slide out the shelves.
