Temperature and door alarm

The appliance has been fitted with a
warning
system which ensures that the
temperature in the freezer cannot rise
unnoticed and to avoid energy being
wasted if the door is left open.
Temperature alarm
If the freezer temperature becomes too
warm, the alarm symbol for the
fr
eezer flashes in the display and an
alarm will also sound.
The temperature the appliance is set at
det
ermines the temperature the
appliance recognises as being too
warm.
Audible and visual signals will be
activat
ed, for example,
– when the appliance is switched on
and the t
emperature in the appliance
differs greatly from the set
temperature,
– if a lot of room air enters the freezer
when food is being loaded,
r
earranged or taken out.
– when freezing large amounts of food
at once,
– in the event of a power cut,
– if the appliance has a fault.
The alarm will stop and the alarm
symbol will go out as soon as the
t
emperature has dropped down to the
correct level again.
However, if the temperature in the
freezer remains above -18 °C for a
long time, check that the frozen food
has not started to defrost. If it has,
check that the food is safe to use
and if it is, then use it as soon as
possible or cook it before freezing it
again.
Switching the temperature alarm off
early
If the noise of the alarm disturbs you,
you can switch the alarm off early if you
wish.
T
ouch the alarm off sensor.
The alarm will stop.
The alarm symbol will
remain
illuminated until the set temperature has
been reached.
