Changing Email Settings
To change the Email settings, open the Email app, tap the Menu icon
> Settings.
General settings
The General settings menu includes the following options: Email preview,
Conversation view, Split view, Set default account, VIP settings, Save to,
Ask before deleting, Auto-advance, and Load images.
Accounts
Tap an account in the list to modify the settings that apply only to that
account including Account name, Your name, Signature, Edit signature,
Notifications, Notification sound, Vibrate, Auto-sync email, Sync
schedule, Email sync period, Message size limit, and Advanced settings.
Voice mail
The Voice mail app allows the management of voice mail directly from the
phone rather than accessing voice mail via traditional methods.
Voice mail can display a list of your messages allowing you to choose which
message(s) to listen to or delete, without having to dial into your mailbox
and listen to voice instructions or prior messages.
To be able to use Voice mail
1. Tap the Home Button > the Apps icon > the Verizon folder >
Voice Mail or tap Voice Mail directly on the Home screen.
NOTE Listening to voice mail and setting up your voice mail service depends on subscription to
the visual mail service. When you tap the Voice mail button
on the dialpad, and
you've subscribed to the visual mail service, the Visual Voice mail app will be launched. If
you're not subscribed, you'll be dialed into your traditional voice mail box.
2. The first time you access the Voice mail app, you'll have to subscribe to
the Visual Voice mail service to be able to use it.
3. After subscription to the Visual Voice mail service, you'll be prompted to
enter the password. To change the password, call voice mail (dial *86).
