Using Transport mode
If you don’t have turntables or CDJs connected to your mixer, you can
still control your DJ tracks using the transport functions that are
included in this pad mode.
1 Press the Performance Pad 1 or 2.
Temporarily adjust the pitch.
2 Press the Performance Pad 3 or 4.
Permanently nudge the track and adjust the pitch.
To reset the key, press the Performance Pad 3 or 4 while holding the [SHIFT]
button.
3 Press the Performance Pad 5.
Turn the Key Lock function on/off.
When the Key Lock function is on, the pitch doesn’t change even when the
track tempo is changed.
The sound is digitally processed, so the sound quality decreases.
4 Press the Performance Pad 6.
When Serato DVS is in Relative mode, it automatically adjusts to the tempo of
tracks on multiple decks.
When Serato DVS is in Internal mode, it automatically adjusts to the tempo and
beatgrids of tracks on multiple decks.
When Serato DVS is in Absolute mode, the Sync function doesn’t work.
To cancel the Sync function, press the Performance Pad 6 while holding the
[SHIFT] button.
5 Press the Performance Pad 7.
Set, play and call up the temporary cue point.
When you press the Performance Pad 7 during pause, you can set the
temporary cue point.
When you press the Performance Pad 7 during playback, the playback
position returns to the temporary cue point, and playback is paused. (Back
